Abstract: An improved mechanism of simplified smaller construction for independently manually, as by a pushbar, or electrically, as by remote control, unlocking a latch bolt normally urged to locking position by a spring. The mechanism is especially adapted to be incorporated in a panic exit or fire door latch.
