Abstract: 2-Anilino-1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-5-pyrimidinecarboxylic acid derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and are each hydrogen, an alkoxy, a tetrahydrofurylalkoxy, an alkyl, an alkoxycarbonyl, a halogen, a dialkylamino, hydroxy, trifluoromethyl, or nitro, and R.sup.3 is hydrogen or an alkyl, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which have excellent anti-allergic activities and are useful, particularly for the prophylaxis and treatment of allergic asthma, and processes for the preparation thereof, and anti-allergic agent containing said compounds as an active ingredient.
Abstract: An analgesic and anti-inflammatory composition containing emorfazone (4-ethoxy-2-methyl-5-morpholino-3(2H)-pyridazinone) and a non-steroidal acidic anti-inflammatory agent such as phenylbutazone, ibuprofen, mefenamic acid, indomethacin, acetylsalicylic acid, naproxen, ketoprofen and flurbiprofen.
Abstract: A method for producing gamma-globulin in its native state derived from human sources and suitable for use in intravenous administration and having an anti-complementary activity of lower than 20% (C'H.sub.50 v) is disclosed, in which raw human gamma globulin is brought into suspension in an aqueous solution of a monosaccharide, disaccharide or sugar alcohol, adjusted to a pH value of 7.0 to 9.0 and then subjected to fractional precipitation by adding dextran thereto. The fractions showing anti-complementary activity are removed as precipitates.
Abstract: Derivatives of pyrazole represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group of 7 to 11 carbon atoms and R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, have therapeutic activity with a very low mammalian toxicity, and in particular can be used in the treatment of hyperlipemia.
Abstract: Novel pyridazine-containing thioamide derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is ##STR2## wherein A is hydrogen, methyl, phenyl or mercapto, and B is hydrogen or phenyl; R.sub.2 is hydrogen or methyl; R.sub.3 is hydrogen, methyl or phenyl; R.sub.4 is hydrogen or methyl; and n is zero or 1. The derivatives have outstanding gastric antisecretory activity.
Abstract: The glucans and glucan derivatives which inhibit the growth of sarcoma 180 in mice are only sparingly soluble in water, and their aqueous solutions are unstable. In the presence of 0.1 to 1.0 g/dl water soluble dextran, hydroxyethyl starch, carboxymethyl cellulose, or polyethylene glycol, they form relatively concentrated and stable solutions, particularly in the presence of hexoses, pentoses or sugar alcohols having 5 or 6 carbon atoms.
