  • Patent number: 11971422
Abstract: The invention discloses a digital slide scanner sample identification device, and relates to the digital slide scanner for solving the problem that a bar code scanner can normally read a bar code label through the light contact, and the samples cannot be read due to the shielding of the bar code since the samples are stored in the digital slide scanner or scanning samples are stacked. The device comprises a digital slide scanner, and scanning samples; a near-field communication NFC read-write module is arranged in the digital slide scanner, and a NFC label is arranged on each scanning sample. By using the NFC technology, the NFC label data in a large amount of scanning samples can be read within short time, a feedback indication can be provided, and the working efficiency is greatly improved. The invention further discloses a digital slide scanner sample identification method.

  • Patent number: 11373366
Abstract: The invention disclosures a method for improving modeling speed of digital slide scanner, relates to the technical field of microscopes, the modeling speed is slow for image quality; and the focusing plane positions of the modeling points in modeling and in scanning imaging are different, which causes decrease of image quality, that is the question that higher requirement on motion repetition precision of the stage. The invention adopts modeling and scanning imaging in units of scanning lines, modeling and scanning the current line and modeling and scanning imaging the next line thereafter, wherein the modeling of the next line takes advantage of the time from the end of the current line to line feeding and returning to the beginning of the next line, during which the modeling is completed, which may parallel the modeling time with scanning and line feeding process, and effectively reduce the equivalent modeling time.

  • Patent number: 8668640
Abstract: Endoscopes and other viewing devices that control the light that contacts a sample and/or that is detected emanating from a sample. The viewing devices are particularly well suited for in vivo imaging, although other uses are also included. The viewing devices, and methods related thereto, comprise a spatial light modulator in the illumination and/or detection light path so that light transmitted to the target via a bundle of light guides or optical system is transmitted substantially only into the cores of the light guide bundle and not into the cladding surrounding the light guides, filler between the light guides in the bundle, or undesired light guides. Also, methods and apparatus for mapping the pixels of the spatial light modulator to the cores of the light guides in the bundle (preferably at least 3 pixels (e.g., at least 3 mirrors for a digital micromirror device) for each core), as well as for mapping the light guides of one light guide bundle to another.

  • Patent number: 8664002
Abstract: A method of collecting target regions from a target object is described. The method in one embodiment comprises mounting a negatively-charged membrane on a first side of a substrate, mounting a target object on the membrane, positioning a collection material adjacent to the target object, and passing a laser beam from a second side of the substrate, through the substrate, the membrane, and the target object, to dissect target regions from the prepared tissue section, whereby the dissected target regions adhere to the collection material. In another embodiment, the present invention is a system for collecting target regions from a target object. In one embodiment, the system comprises a substrate having a first side and a second side, a negatively-charged membrane adhered to the first side of the substrate, and a collection material mountable adjacent to the membrane.

  • Patent number: 8114625
Abstract: The invention describes a method for cell analysis in which the cells to be analyzed are adhesively applied to a slide and stained with a first stain. A first digital image is then taken and stored of the cells applied to the slide and stained. After the first digital image is taken, these same cells are treated with a second stain while on the same slide in such a way that their optically measurable properties change. A second digital image is then taken of the cells applied to the slide and stored. According to the invention, a group of preparations with cells to be analyzed is first stained with a stain of a highly sensitive analysis method, and only the preparations with positive findings are further processed.

  • Patent number: 7755832
Abstract: Apparatus and methods relating to microscopes having specific control of the light that contacts a sample and/or a light detector, such as the eye of the user, a charge couple device or a video camera. The improved control includes enhanced, selective control of the angle of illumination, quantity of light and location of light reaching the sample and/or detector. The microscopes comprise one or more spatial light modulators in the illumination and/or detection light path of the microscope at one or both of the conjugate image plane of the aperture diaphragm of the objective lens and the conjugate image plane of the sample.

  • Publication number: 20080215708
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dissecting sample sharing system that is composed of a room terminal system and a central control system. The room terminal system at least includes a computer, an image partitioning device and one or more dissecting table units which have image collecting function. The computer sends designation signals to a control case in each dissecting table unit. The control case controls the dissecting table according to the designation signals, and synchronously sends the visual signals, which are obtained from the image collecting device in the dissecting table unit to the image partitioning device. The image partitioning device sends the visual signals to the room terminal system. The central control system is composed of a central control computer and central control software that are connected through network to have communion with each other.
