Abstract: A necklace which prevents rotation. The necklace has a connecting metal positioned on the rear side which is prevented from being turned to the front when it is worn. The necklace includes a plurality of continuously arranged pieces with connecting metals provided at opposite ends of the pieces. At least one piece among the plurality of pieces in the proximity of the connecting metals is formed of a hollow member while the other pieces are formed of solid members.
Abstract: A method for forming a garland chain is disclosed, wherein an original chain formed of either long links or of long and short links is worked to produce a garland chain. The garland chain is formed by sliding one link on another so that two attached links are positioned at one end of a long link, and deforming the long link to constrict the central or medial portion, thereby retaining the two attached links at the same end of the long link. Deformation may be applied in the form of crimping, bending or twisting of the links, or combinations of these methods. The deforming methods can be applied to every long link in a chain, or to selected sequences of long links, to create different garland chain effect.
Abstract: The invention relates to jewelry chains by electro-forming wherein a jewelry chain as an original material is thickened by an electro-forming to obtain fattened chain links thereof such that the fattened chain links not only make the distance between interlinked pivotting points of each chain link of the chain relatively smaller to make the chain in a denser construction but also adapt the chain for subsequent various processes such as pressing, swaging and the like to obtain more novel chains in design and style. Further, it relates to an apparatus suitable for the electro-forming process.
