  • Publication number: 20140179898
Abstract: A modified protein of an extracellular domain of protein A, which has the reduced ability to bind to immunoglobulin in an acidic region, compared with the wild-type extracellular domain of protein A, without impairing a selective antibody-binding activity in a neutral region. On the basis of three-dimensional structure coordinate data on a complex of the extracellular domain of protein A bound with the Fc region of immunoglobulin G, the modified protein is obtained by the substitution of amino acid residues that are located within the range of 10 angstroms from the Fc region and have a 20% or more ratio of exposed surface area, by histidine residues. Preferably, the modified protein is obtained by the substitution of amino acid residues at sites identified from the analysis of sequences selected from a library constituted by the protein group, by histidine residues. These substitutions may be combined.

  • Patent number: 8513458
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for inexpensively, efficiently, safely, and continuously producing COF2, without using highly toxic raw materials such as phosgene or difficult-to-get raw materials, with no risk of explosion or the like. Tetrafluoroethylene gas and oxygen gas are introduced into a reactor, and they are then heated in a gas phase in the absence of nitrogen gas for reaction, so as to produce carbonyl fluoride. The reactor is preferably a tubular reaction tube. As such tetrafluoroethylene gas, unpurified or purified tetrafluoroethylene gas obtained by heating HCFC-22 gas for thermal decomposition can be used. According to the present invention, COF2 that is useful as cleaning gas for CVD devices (chemical vapor deposition method) can be inexpensively, efficiently, and safely produced.

  • Publication number: 20110235897
Abstract: The device includes: an input unit (4) for receiving image data obtained by capturing images of an object by imaging units (C1 to C3); and an arithmetic unit (1) that performs: 1) finding a three-dimensional reconstruction point set that contain three-dimensional position information of segments obtained by dividing a boundary of the object in the image data, and a feature set that contain three-dimensional information regarding vertices of the segments, for each of multiple pairs of two different images; 2) calculating a total three-dimensional reconstruction point set and a total feature set by totaling the three-dimensional reconstruction point sets and the feature sets of the multiple pairs; and 3) matching a model feature set regarding model data of the object with the total feature set, thereby determining, among the total three-dimensional reconstruction point set, points corresponding to model points of the object.

  • Publication number: 20110139321
Abstract: Disclosed are an austenitic stainless steel, and a hydrogenation method thereof, in which occurrence of fatigue cracks and growth of fatigue cracks are suppressed by charging the austenitic stainless steel with hydrogen. In particular, focusing on the amount of diffusible hydrogen and non-diffusible hydrogen, which cause hydrogen embrittlement in austenitic stainless steel, the fatigue strength characteristics of austenitic stainless steel are improved by bringing the amount of diffusible hydrogen and non-diffusible hydrogen contained in the austenitic stainless steel to 0.0030 wt % (30 wt ppm) or higher. The austenitic stainless steel is subjected to a thermal treatment at a heating temperature of 200 to 500° C. for up to 460 hours in a hydrogen environment. The hydrogen (H) contained in the austenitic stainless steel is brought thereby to 0.0030 wt % (30 wt ppm) or higher.

  • Publication number: 20080277625
Abstract: The present invention provides a lowly toxic phosphor and a production process thereof, and more particularly, the synthesis of nanoparticles having a chalcopyrite structure, a phosphor by compounding with a metal chalcogenite, and a production process thereof. The phosphor is a first compound composed of elements of groups I, III and VI having a chalcopyrite structure, or composite particles or composite compound containing the first compound, and the particle diameter of the first compound, or the composite particles or composite compound, is 0.5 to 20.0 nm. The phosphor is produced by mixing a first solution (Solution A), in which one or more of copper (I), copper (II), silver (I), indium (III), gallium (III) and aluminum (III) are respectively dissolved and mixed in a solution to which has been added a complexing agent, and a second solution (Solution C), in which a chalcogenite compound has been dissolved, followed by heat-treating under pre-determined synthesis conditions.
