At least one of the cover or the base defines at least a first labyrinth passageway having a first resistance to water flow and a second labyrinth passageway having a second resistance to water flow different from the first resistance to water flow; and further wherein the base and the cover are structured so that movement of the cover in relation to the base connects the inlet connector to the outlet connector via only the first labyrinth passageway, and wherein further movement of the cover in relation to the base connects the inlet connector to the outlet connector via only the second labyrinth passageway.

Abstract: A marker for attachment to a permeable paver that includes a structure having a plurality of honeycombed, hexagon-shaped cells with upstanding sidewalls, the sidewall of each cell having an upper surface and a lower surface, an inner surface and an outer surface, and a thickness, the marker comprising a generally planar cap having a substantially hexagonal perimeter that is dimensioned to span across a hexagon-shaped cell of the paver such that the perimeter of the cap substantially matches the outer surface of the sidewalls of the cell.

The bore extends through the rods from the sharpened tip to the barbed tip, whereby the spike provides a channel for the passage of fluid. Further included, a clamp including two legs extending substantially parallel with each other and spaced apart from each other by a distance, an apex portion connecting the two legs to each other so that the clamp is shaped substantially in the form of an inverted “U”; and an opening in the apex portion, the opening being sized to receive the inlet rod of the spike.

The Maximum Irrigation Duration is adjusted by multiplying the Maximum Irrigation Duration by a Period Reduction Factor for the current period associated with the sector that has been identified by the user, to obtain an Actual Irrigation Duration. The irrigation system is caused to irrigate for the Actual Irrigation Duration during the current period.

Abstract: A method and assembly for packing a plurality of similar items of coiled material, each item having an annular shape with an internal circumferential surface of first diameter. A sheet of cardboard is folded to form a hollow cylindrical post having a triangular cross section with only three sides and three corners. The post is shaped so that an imaginary circle of second diameter drawn around the triangular cross section passes through each of the three corners, wherein the first diameter is equal to the second diameter The coiled material is sequentially positioned over the hollow post so that the internal circumferential surface of each item is in substantial contact with each of the three corners. At least two ties are positioned and tensioned to bind the items of coiled material to the post.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for converting channels manufactured for connection together to produce a straight conduit into channels that may be connected together to produce an effectively curved conduit. A link is described that permits the connection between two channels to be connected with an axial offset, which cumulatively allows a plurality of channels to produce a curved conduit.

Abstract: An expansion repair coupling for interconnecting two facing ends of a cut pipe comprises a tubular body, a spigot slidably and rotatably received therein and a locking mechanism to selectively lock or unlock the rotation of the tubular body relative to the spigot. An end of the spigot extends outward from the tubular body to receive a coupling that connects to one end of the cut pipe. A radially enlarged section on the spigot has a sealing mechanism that sealably engages an interior surface of the tubular body. The locking mechanism, engaged by collapsing the spigot into the tubular body or disengaged by extending the spigot therefrom, facilitates a push and twist connection at both ends of the pipe to wipe the adhesive disposed therebetween and obtain a better seal. Preferably, the locking mechanism comprises a socket having spigot engaging members that cooperatively engage socket engaging members on the spigot.

Abstract: A catch basin configured to allow selective positioning of the outlet and inlet ports on the side walls of the catch basin's receptacle body. At least one of the receptacle side walls comprise a slide opening having opposing sides. A slide member has a pair of slide edges that slidably engage the sides of the slide opening to substantially close the slide opening. The slide member has a port section and two or more positioning sections, with at least one positioning section located above the port section and one below the port section. The port section has an outlet or inlet port integral therewith or fixedly attached thereto or the port section comprises a mechanism for attaching an outlet or inlet port thereto, such as a port cutout having a removable knockout plate. The slide member has section removal indicators to identify which positioning sections should be removed.
