Abstract: A memory device sharing system includes M (M represents an integer of 2 or greater) access control apparatus for sharing N (N represents an integer of 2 or greater) memory devices which store data, and a managing apparatus for managing access to the memory devices via the access control apparatus. The managing apparatus checks data stored in the N memory devices, generates data position information representative of the storage positions of data stored in any one of the N memory devices, and sends the data position information to the M access control apparatus. Each of the M access control apparatuses receives the data position information sent from the manager, and accesses the storage position indicated by the data position information if each of the M access control apparatuses receives an access request to access the data from an access request source.

Abstract: It is desired to provide a content data display device having a caption display function which can effectively use the screen of the limited size and achieves a high operability. A content data display device includes: a storage unit configured to store an image data and a content data which includes at least one caption data which respectively corresponds to at least one region on the image data; a display unit configured to display the image data; an input unit configured to select a selected region from the at least one region; and a control unit configured to display a caption data which is one of the at least one caption data and corresponds to the selected region to overlap on the selected region of the image data as a selected caption data.

The server divides the points stored in association with the user identification information into user's own points that only the user can use; and other's points that other users other than the user can use, before storing the points in the database.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a controller acquiring texts including each of a plurality of commercial product names to be analyzed, with respect to the respective commercial product names, from a storage device when the commercial product names are entered into the controller, extracting first phrases and second phrases from the acquired texts with respect to the commercial product names, the first phrases and the second phrases being classified as belonging to a first kind and a second kind, respectively, as expressions of evaluation of commercial products indicated by the commercial product names, and generating a graph representing evaluation points as values corresponding to the differences between counts of the first phrases and the second phrases.

Abstract: A moving picture/still picture processing system includes a server and communication terminal communicating by network with the server. The communication terminal sends the server a request causing the server to decorate the picture according to a designated decoration method. When the server receives the request, the server generates request identification information (RII) identifying the request, stores the decoration method designated in the request and correlated with the RII, and transmits the RII to the communication terminal. When the communication terminal receives the RII, the communication terminal adds the RII to the picture and transmits it to the server. When the server receives the picture from the communication terminal, the server decorates the picture according to the decoration method corresponding to the RII that added to the picture, stores the decorated picture, and delivers the decorated picture that corresponds to a delivery request.

Abstract: A method, device, system, and program for transaction of contents through a network are provided. In this transaction system, user terminals are configured to allow users to conduct transactions. A user sends a notification that the user hopes to register contents and prescribed items thereof in a data base in a center through the Internet. A Web server in the center registers the contents and the prescribed items thereof sent from the user in the data base. When use or transfer of the contents sent from the user occurs, a token according to the occurrence is sent to a user who hopes to use or transfer of the contents. In the case of accidents concerning contents and tokens, appropriation/compensation is implemented from funds for handling trouble to a user who suffers a loss of benefit. Thereby, it becomes possible to conduct transaction of contents easily and securely, spread around detail of contents extensively, and receive contents promptly which a user hopes to use.
