    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and apparatus for enhancing coverage in a TDD system, wherein there is at least one TDD UL/DL configuration for subframes in the TDD system, and the at least one UL/DL configuration comprises at least one special subframe and at least one normal subframe. In the method according to embodiments of the present invention, whether a special subframe is to be applied in TTI bundling is determined first, and then a message with an indication indicating that a special subframe is to be applied in TTI bundling is sent to a UE in response to determining that a special subframe is to be applied in TTI bundling, such that the UE transmits TTI bundling packets on at least one special subframe.

The method for indicating downlink channel measurement comprises: receiving information on interferes of a user equipment; generating, based on downlink subframe configuration information, a downlink channel measurement indication for each of possible combinations of the interferers, wherein the channel measurement indication is adapted to indicate a subframe group to be measured by a user equipment; and sending the downlink channel measurement indication to the user equipment so as to indicate the user equipment to perform corresponding downlink channel measurement. According to embodiments of the present invention, the subframe groups that are required to be measured by the user equipment may be determined with respect to possible combinations of interferers corresponding to different levels of interference.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to uplink data transmission in a wireless communication system. The method comprises transmitting an indication for new-type reference signals to a user equipment, wherein the new-type reference signals have a reduced density of reference signals in frequency domain, and resource elements not used by reference signals in symbols for the new-type reference signals are used for coverage enhancement; receiving the new-type reference signals; and performing channel estimation based on the new-type reference signals. With embodiments of the present disclosure, it may reduce the density of reference signals in frequency domain, which means the overhead will not be increased substantially and besides saved resource element may be used to implement the coverage enhancement.

In such a way, the secondary transmitter' throughput can be improved with controllable rate loss to the primary receiver and accordingly the spectrum efficiency for the whole system can be further upgraded.
