Abstract: A blank for producing a finished container which is divided into compartments suitable for holding piece items. The blank comprises at least five rectangular panels which can be folded along fault lines to form the container having a bottom, a top, and sides. One of the rectangular panels which forms the top of the container comprises a plurality of folding lines, hexagonal fields, and at least one compartment partition. The fields are formed by a combination of slits and folding lines.
Abstract: A multipurpose mailing envelope which consists of a combination of an outer jacket of biodegradable material such as paper, cardboard or the like, and an inner jacket of soft elastic plastic padding material which stiffens the outer jacket and which is disposed loosely therein. The inside surfaces of the outer jacket and the outside surfaces of the inner jacket are hydrophilic and have adhesion which precludes undesirable slipping during production and/or filling. The outer jacket and inner jacket are easy to dispose of after use and can be easily separated by hand as appropriate to the material involved.
Abstract: A fastener for a detachable mounting of flexible sheets, comprises a pair of molded members of synthetic resin which are detachably interconnectible to each other with the sheet gripped between them. One molded member is the base part and is adapted to be attached to a substrate and has an outstanding spike for passing through the sheet. The spike has a cylindrical stem, an annular flange, and a conical spike tip at its outer end. The other molded member is a slip-on member comprising a two-legged clamping fork, the legs having a least internal spacing from each other which is less than the diameter of the cylindrical stem of the other member, and a plurality of pairs of opposed recesses disposed along the confronting edges of the legs. Also, the thickness of the forked member tapers and is least at its free end.
