Abstract: A method of dyeing a fabric connected in an endless form while repeatedly circulating said fabric through a dyeing tank is improved by providing a residence vessel made of a perforated plate within said dyeing tank and either rocking or vertically reciprocating said residence vessel as immersed in a dyeing liquor while said fabric is being stagnated within said residence vessel. Owing to the rocking or vertical reciprocating motion of the residence vessel, the dyeing liquor is made to flow into and out of said residence vessel, penetrating therethrough, and thereby the necessary amount of the dyeing liquor can be reduced and the dyeing time can be shortened. A desirable apparatus for practicing said improved method is also provided.
Abstract: An apparatus for stirring a liquid, having a stirring blade which is not only capable of rotating, but simultaneously moving in a vertical direction. The number of rotations of the stirring blade during one stoke of its vertical movement may be altered to best suit the requirements of a particular type of liquid to be stirred. The apparatus is especially suitable for stirring a highly viscous liquid uniformly.
Abstract: An apparatus for fluid treatment of a fiber product is provided in which an endless fiber product is circulated in a predetermined direction within a treatment bath in a treatment vessel, characterized in that said apparatus comprises a fiber product residence section composed of a horizontal outer tube communicating with the side of the lower portion of said treatment vessel and a perforated tube concentrically provided inside said outer tube, a high-speed revolving reel for running said fiber product provided outside said treatment bath in said treatment vessel and a tube for transferring said fiber product provided with a treatment fluid jet nozzle for high-speed transfer of said fiber product so provided outside said treatment vessel as to connect the rear portion of said reel in said treatment vessel to the tip of said horizontal outer tube.
