Patents Assigned to Nippon Carbureter Co.
  • Patent number: 5527367
Abstract: A mixer for a gas fueled engine uses a venturi through which a fuel nozzle opens into an air inlet path at a narrowest portion of the venturi in a substantially parallel orientation relative to the flow of inlet air in the air inlet path to reduce the mixture loss, and an air nozzle opens into the air inlet path at an expanding portion of the venturi in a substantially parallel orientation relative to the flow of the inlet air to reduce the ventilation resistance caused by a boundary layer and to make a uniform mixture of the gaseous fuel and the air.

  • Patent number: 5060617
Abstract: A fuel supply system for selectively increasing the fuel supply to an internal combustion engine suitable for use in outboard motors and the like in response to sensed operating conditions of the engine, such as engine start-up, engine acceleration, and engine knocking. A series of engine operating condition sensors, such as an engine temperature sensor, an engine throttle opening sensor, an engine crank angle sensor, and an engine knocking sensor, detects the occurrence of engine start-up, engine acceleration, or engine knocking and sends a signal to a micro-computer to operate an electromagnetic pump and electromagnetic control valve to supply an additional amount of fuel to the fuel supply passage of the engine.

  • Patent number: 4483303
Abstract: An apparatus for regulating fuel supply to a liquefied petroleum gas engine comprising a housing divided by a lower chamber passing through the fuel in liquid phase from a fuel supply to a vaporizer and an upper chamber connected to a carburetor of the engine passing through the fuel in gas phase from the vaporizer to the carburetor by a partition wall having a passage therein, the composition of the fuel being determined in temperature and vapor pressure of the fuel in liquid phase in the lower chamber, the flow of the fuel in gas phase from the passage in the partition wall to the upper chamber being controlled by valve means actuated in response to the temperature and the pressure of the fuel in liquid phase.

  • Patent number: 4408593
Abstract: This invention relates to a liquid fuel combustion apparatus such as oil space heater in which liquid fuel is vaporized by a vaporizer and the vaporized liquid fuel is injected through a first nozzle to a burner. The vaporizer is heated by combustion of fuel gas which is injected through a second nozzle to the burner before the vaporizer has been heated up to a temperature at which the liquid fuel passing the vaporizer is evaporated. The injection of the fuel gas from the second nozzle to the burner is changed to the injection of the vaporized liquid fuel from the first nozzle when the vaporizer has been heated up to a desired temperature. The supply of the liquid fuel to the vaporizer is carried out by a fuel pump which is driven by electric power generated by a thermopile.
