  • Patent number: 4830518
Abstract: A seal plate for sealing the axial end opening between the outer ring and the inner ring of a cylindrical roller bearing includes a mandrelor core. The mandrel has a fixing portion at the peripheral part to be fitted to the outer ring, a slant portion protruding obliquely and outwardly, an intermediate portion extending from the slant portion perpendicularly to the axis, and bent portion protruding inwardly in the axial direction from the inner edge of the intermediate portion. A lip portion formed of an elastic member is bonded to the bent portion to extend in the opposite direction to the fixing portion. In the cylindrical outside surface of the flange of the inner ring, there is a step-formed portion in two steps at a position facing the bent portion and the lip portion of the mandrel of the seal plate.

  • Patent number: 4610497
Abstract: A lamp socket device includes a socket body preferably made of a resilient material and a pair of electrically conductive terminals disposed therein and each including clamping portions having free ends bent as locking arms and a base having a locking hook bent from an upper edge thereof in a direction transverse to the locking arms. The locking arms and hooks are held in engagement with inner walls of the socket body which are positioned in mutually transverse relation. The terminals are thus easily and firmly mounted in place in the socket body against undesirable electric faults such as short-circuiting while the lamp socket device is used in a vibratory condition. Waterproof sealing characteristics and vibration resistance of the socket are improved by forming the socket body of resilient material.

  • Patent number: 4543475
Abstract: An antireverse rotation means which includes a resilient arm provided on and protruding from a side face of a pinion holder and an engagement portion formed on a side face of a digit wheel at a position corresponding to an end of said resilient arm. The resilient arm slides and rides over the engageable portion on the digit wheel without causing noise during positive rotation of the digit wheel; however, during the reverse rotation, the resilient arm engages with the engageable portion blocks reverse rotation of the digit wheel.

  • Patent number: 4509044
Abstract: Sampling data output in the form of digital signals corresponding to changes in a quantity to be measured within a predetermined period or an average value of the sampling data is compared with display data corresponding to the current display. When the accumulation signal obtained by accumulation of the difference between the sampling data and display data exceeds a predetermined value, or an average value having a predetermined difference from the current display data has been counted a predetermined times, the display data is updated.

  • Patent number: 4356388
Abstract: A tamper proof odometer wherein elastic arms are mounted on a driving gear, teeth in the inner circumference of a recess formed in one side of the least significant digit wheel engage with the front end of the elastic arm to prevent reverse rotation, and alternate teeth of a gear of a holder to engage with two protrusions in the inner circumference of the recess formed in the other side of the least significant digit wheel are partially notched for prevention of reverse rotation so that the odometer may be driven and may register mileage in the forward direction of the vehicle only and may not be driven in the other direction.
