Abstract: The monitoring system includes a central unit for sending and receiving wireless information concerning events and conditions on a boat or components arranged on the boat. A portable remote manoeuvre unit is equipped to send wireless instructions to the central unit and to receive wireless information from the central unit. The portable manoeuvering unit includes a manoeuvering device and a gear changing device for sending wireless instructions to change the gears of the boat, to adjust the throttle controls of the boat and to control its steering.
Abstract: In a compressor-operated refrigeration or heat pump system (10), the existing values of at least two variable quantities, consisting of the temperature or the pressure at different preselected places (16, 17, 18, 19) in the system (10), are sensed. The sensed values of said quantities or at least one value of at least one other variable quantity, derived from said sensed values, being utilized for determining the existing amount of working fluid in the system (10) based upon a previously established relationship between said amount and the value or values, respecitvely, of the utilized quantity or quantities. At least two different preliminary approximate values of the amount of working fluid are determined while utilizing values of at least partially different variable quantities, whereupon a resultant approximate value is determined based upon said preliminary values.

Abstract: Device for limiting the exhaust gas temperature in an internal combustion engine consisting of a thermoelement (2) protruding into the engine exhaust manifold (1) and an electronic control unit (3) connected thereto, which is disposed to send an output signal dependent on the exhaust gas temperature sensed by the thermoelement to the fuel injection system (4) of the engine. When the output signal indicates that the temperature exceeds a maximum-permissible level, an excess of fuel is injected for cooling.
Abstract: A system for controlling the boost pressure in a turbocharged internal combustion engine comprising a control device (171), an operating device (11, 12, 13) controlled by the control device and operative in controlling the speed of a turbine (4) and means (22) for feeding to the control device (171) signals which represent the true boost pressure prevailing at a location upstream of the engine throttle valve (9). The control device includes a data processor (18, 21) in which there is stored data which relates to theoretic control-valve settings and values which are intended to give boost pressure control values as a function of engine speed. The control device is constructed to compare the true boost pressure with the given control value subsequent to an increase in load with a subsequent rise in pressure over an interval of time.
