  • Publication number: 20140365057
Abstract: A management system is provided for managing a hybrid vehicle having an engine and a motor/generator as power sources. The management system includes an acquisition unit and an area identifying unit. The acquisition unit acquires engine operating information from a plurality of vehicles, during the operation of the motor/generator. The engine operating information includes a moving distance or an engine operating time from the start of to the stop of the engine, and an engine operating position indicating the point at which the engine is operating. The area identifying unit identifies on map data an engine start-up suppressing area in which the start of the engine is suppressed based on the engine operating information.

  • Patent number: 7734417
Abstract: An image processing device and method for parking support that allows the driver to perceive the state surrounding the vehicle correctly in a simple operation even if plural cameras are carried on the vehicle. Plural images are acquired using plural cameras for image pickup in different directions surrounding the vehicle. These images are used to show the state surrounding the vehicle to the driver, preferably in the form of a bird's-eye view. The view seen by the driver can switch from the bird's-eye view to an image of a desired view. This view can be selected by the driver by, for example, touching the screen upon which the bird's-eye view is displayed.

  • Publication number: 20080258450
Abstract: A suspension member for connecting a vehicle body and a suspension device that comprises a pair of side members that extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body and are located symmetrically relative to the center in the transverse direction of the vehicle body, and cross members interconnecting the pair of side members and extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle body. The suspension member is formed by press-molding only after flat plate-like side members and cross members are welded in butt joints.

  • Publication number: 20030090231
Abstract: Limits are imposed on a fundamental voltage command value calculated at a fundamental current control circuit that controls a fundamental component of a 3-phase AC motor current in a dq-axis coordinate system rotating in synchronization with the rotation of the 3-phase AC motor by using predetermined limit values and limits are imposed on a higher harmonic voltage command value calculated in an orthogonal coordinate system (a higher harmonic coordinate system) rotating at a frequency set to an integral multiple of the frequency of the fundamental component in the 3-phase AC motor current by using a predetermined limit values. The voltage command values resulting from the limit processing are added together and a voltage corresponding to the sum is applied to the AC motor for drive control.

  • Patent number: 5962927
Abstract: By calculating a fuel vapor quantity in a fuel tank based on a fuel temperature and a fuel residual quantity in the fuel tank, then calculating a fuel vapor purge quantity based on an engine revolution number and engine torque when an engine is driven, and then estimating a fuel vapor quantity captured in a vapor capturing unit based on the fuel vapor quantity and the fuel vapor purge quantity, the engine can be driven to purge the fuel vapor to the engine before the fuel vapor overflows the vapor capturing unit to thus be discharged into the air.
