Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include devices and methods for aligning an electrical device. The electrical device aligning tool may include a body member, comprising an end panel at each opposing longitudinal end of the body member and forming a longitudinally perpendicular angle with the body member. The tool may also include an intersecting member coupled to the body member and positioned such that a length of the intersecting member longitudinally intersects the body member at an angle. Additionally, the intersecting member may include an expanding and contracting mechanism, and lateral members coupled to the expanding and contracting mechanism such that the lateral members move horizontally along a front surface of the intersecting member, with respect to a movement of the expanding and contracting mechanism.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include devices and methods for securely clipping the tip of an electrical wire. The wire tip clipping tool may include an opening and closing mechanism, and a member coupled to the opening and closing mechanism. The member can include a top portion and a bottom portion moveably coupled such that an opening is formed between the top portion and bottom for receiving at least a portion of an electrical wire inserted into the opening. The top portion and bottom portion may move towards each other, with respect to movement of the opening and closing mechanism, to a closed position for clipping the received portion of the electrical wire, restricting movement of the electrical wire and preventing conductive contact with the received portion of the electrical wire.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include devices and methods for gripping and stripping an electrical wire. The tool may include a body, having a first portion with a curved tip, and a second portion. The tool may also include a closing mechanism mounted on the body, and an elongated member having a protruding tip and coupled to the closing mechanism. The elongated member can slidably move towards the second portion, causing the protruding tip to move away from to the curved tip, with respect to movement of the closing mechanism for receiving at least a portion of an electrical wire inserted into the opening, or move towards the first portion, causing the protruding tip to move toward the curved tip, with respect to another movement of the closing mechanism for gripping the received portion of the electrical wire.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include devices and methods for shielding an electrical device. The electrical device shield tool may include an expanding and contracting mechanism; and a body coupled to the expanding and contracting mechanism. The body can include a first half slidably coupled to a second half that are capable of movement, as the body expands to increase an opening with respect to a movement of the expanding and contracting mechanism. Furthermore, the electrical device shield tool can include grooves, that receive protruding edges of the metal enclosure to affix the body to the metal enclosure and form a barrier for the electrical device from the metal enclosure.
