Abstract: A keyboard has an attitude adjusting mechanism with a shaft extending lengthwise along the rear inside of the case. The shaft allows the legs to be adjusted remotely from the adjusting mechanism. Two legs are mounted on the shaft and extend through holes in the bottom rear of the case to raise and lower the rear of the case as the shaft is rotated. The adjusting mechanism is indexed by rotatable flats on the shaft which mate with complementary flats in the case to lock the mechanism in its index positions. A holder for a flexible strip label on the keyboard has a finger slot for access to the label so that it can be removed from its holder.
Abstract: A cover assembly for a connector for flat shielded multi-conductor cable comprising two shell halves and two compressible inserts such that the connected embodiment provides shielding integrity, strain relief and grounding for the arrangement, while neither distorting nor squashing the multi-conductor cable. This connector facilitates easy attachment, and is designed to accommodate the varying cable sizes and diameters manufactured by a variety of firms.
Abstract: Disclosed is a conductive screen for a video display unit. In particular, this invention discloses an electromagnetic interference ("EMI") shielding device for a video display unit and methods for making the same. This invention relates to an EMI shielding device in which an electrically conductive screen or conductive coating is used to shield the face plate of a cathode ray tube. The face plate is maintained in place by holding means located between the face plate and the bezel.

Abstract: A conductive screen for a video display unit. In particular, this invention discloses an electromagnetic interference ("EMI") shielding device for a video display unit and methods for making the same. This invention relates to an EMI shielding device which an electrically conductive screen is in electrically conductive contact with the face of a cathode ray tube also eliminating the build up of static electricity therefrom. The conductive screen and faceplate of the video display unit are held in contact with the cathode ray tube by the bezel of the cathode ray tube housing.
Abstract: The invention relates to a display monitor of the kit type which display monitor includes a cathode ray tube (CRT) and video driving circuitry for driving the CRT, the driving circuitry including a monitor circuit board and a flyback transformer. In accordance with the invention, a structural member is provided for mounting the video driving circuitry. The structural member is permanently supportingly attached to the CRT at the corner ears of the CRT. The structural member is a metallic member and is spaced from the neck of the CRT.
