Abstract: The prevent invention relates to a shutter of a leaf spring type supported at a filler neck portion of a fuel filler pipe by a shutter support portion within the filler pipe. The invention aims to improve a durability in opening and closing action of the shutter. The shutter according to the invention is formed to have an arm portion extending from a shutter working portion, the arm portion being elastically deformed when the shutter opens, and a turned end portion extending from the arm portion toward the shutter working portion. The turned end portion is held by the shutter support portion at a location near the shutter working portion such that deformation of the turned end portion is not restricted when it elastically deforms in accordance with the opening movement of the shutter.

Abstract: In a plastic filler neck cap including therein a receptacle for a pressure control valve and a receptacle for an anti-leakage assembly, a positive-negative pressure valve is compactly constructed in such a manner that the valve body retainer plate is formed into a hat-like configuration including an upper portion with a passing hole at its center, an outer peripheral wall and a spring reception tongue; the valve body is in engagement with the valve body retainer plate whose passing hole sustains a portion of the valve body; the valve body presents a double-disk shape with a smaller upper disk and a larger lower disk having on the upside a peripheral upper ridge and on the downside a lower ridge inside the upper ridge, and further a center communication opening extending through both the disks; the diameter of the negative pressure valve body is predetermined larger than the extension of the lower ridge on the bottom of the valve body, forming a pan-like shape setting the opening side down with a skirt portion

Abstract: A safety plastic filler neck for an automobile, vehicle, etc., that functions both to control the screwing torque and to prevent the fuel leakage from filler port through releasing a cap separable from the screw body. The screw body includes a flange disposed on its top portion, engaging/disengaging teeth formed at several locations along its outer circumference by extending the flange, a circular standing edge provided on the flange, latching teeth formed at several locations along the outer circumference of the circular standing edge which are to be latched in screwing direction, and incisions provided under the latching teeth and corresponding to them. The cap includes a rotation flange disposed on top of it, a round cover edge for covering the circular standing edge and the engaging/disengaging teeth of the screw body, latches formed on upper inner surface of the round cover edge, and an anchoring groove formed in lower inner surface of the round cover edge.
