    Abstract: Synergistic mixtures of a zeolite and an imide provide superior relief from objectionable odors. The compostions are especially effective to remove the odor of animal wastes or fluids. The mixture may be sprinkled on dogs, dog bedding, horse stalls, animal vomit, urine deposits, fish remains, fish juices and the like. The zeolite/imide mixture will also remove odors from carpets, clothes, hands or other body parts, cloth and plastic items.

    Abstract: A dry zeolite containing composition is used in a method for removing grease and/or oil stains from the human body is disclosed. In accordance with the method, zeolites having an average particle size of about 0.5 mm or less provide superior performance to remove grease and oil stains from the skin. Stain removing activities of the zeolite compositions may be enhanced by the addition of an imide.

    Abstract: An improved method for the removal of stains from textiles is disclosed. The method involves the use of novel mixtures of zeolites and imides. The method of the invention provides superior performance in the removal of stains, especially those from animal wastes or fluids. The zeolite/imide mixtures are useful to remove stains from various textile fabrics and fibers, e.g. carpets, clothing, and upholstered goods.
