Abstract: A device generating pulsed motions comprises: (A) two parallel shafts (3; 4) each having a longitudinal axis (5; 6), a rear end (7; 8) and a front end (9; 10), (B) a gear unit (2) comprising at least two gears (20; 21) where at least two gears (20) are oval gears and each gear (20; 21) is connected to a rear end (7; 8) of the two shafts (3; 4), (C) two arcuate drive levers (30; 31) each having a first end (32; 33) and at least one second end (34; 35), where each first end (32; 33) of the drive levers (30; 31) is connected to one front end (9; 10) of the two shafts (3; 4) in rotatable manner about a first axis of rotation (11; 12), and (E) a drive body (40) which is connected to the second ends (34; 35) of the drive levers (30; 31) in rotatable manner about two second axes of rotation (13; 14), where (F) the drive body (40) is a polysomic body.
Abstract: A drive for an inverse kinematics device with two parallel axles moved in opposing directions and non-uniformly rotating. The axles have an angular relationship and the drive is supplied externally by at least one essentially uniformly rotating axle. Each of the axles carries an oval wheel, wherein the ovality of the wheels correspond to the angular relationship. The oval wheels are firmly fixed to the associated axle. The periphery of the oval wheels is designed for the positive acceptance of a traction element. At least one uniformly rotating wheel is provided having a periphery designed for the positive acceptance and drive of the traction element. Two traction elements are provided for the transmission of turning moments and power from one of the uniformly rotating wheels onto the oval wheels. Each drive line includes a wheel, traction element and an oval wheel containing an elastic element, which can compensate for impairment of the constancy of peripheral velocity of the oval wheels.
Abstract: An apparatus for mixing or stirring materials comprises an oloid-shaped body element which is connected by forked control gimbals to pivot bearings at the ends of two respective parallel shafts, the first shaft being attached to a support member to be fixed in position and the second shaft being rotatably mounted relative to the support member so as to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis and also around the first shaft at a fixed distance. Simultaneous rotation of the second shaft about the first shaft and about its longitudinal axis will cause the oloid-shaped body element to move in a tumbling and rotating fashion.
Abstract: For the purpose of driving a body (8) that, in order to perform a tumbling and rotating movement, is suspended by means of pivot pins (9) on two fork-shaped gimbals (5, 7) which are each connected by means of a pivot bearing (4, 6) to the end of one of two parallel drive shafts (2, 3), each of the drive shafts (2, 3) is driven by a hydraulic motor (12, 13). The two hydraulic motors (12, 13) are connected to a common hydraulic pump (14) by means of a branched line (15, 16, 17).
