Abstract: An HVAC controller, in one embodiment, may include a gas valve interface and an AC unit switch interface, and a controller that may communicate with at least one of the gas valve and the AC unit switch. An identification module may identify one or more time periods when energy consumption is not likely to occur or is likely minimal, and a calibration module may open and close the at least one of the gas valve and the AC unit switch according to calibration schedule data. A computational module may calculate a computed flow rate for the at least one of the gas valve and the AC unit switch based on a calibration open time, a calibration close time, and the actual energy usage data for usage that occurred between the calibration open time and the calibration close time. The computed flow rate may be utilized to identify anomalies and provide notifications thereof.

Abstract: A coupling for an irrigation system may have a first member and a second member, each of which has threads that engage a threaded fitting of an adjacent component. The first member may have a shank and a flange that has a greater exterior dimension than the shank. The flange may have a first locking extension. The second member may have a bore that receives the shank such that the second member is slidable along the base member between a locked configuration in which rotation of the second member about the centerline induces rotation of the base member about the centerline, and an unlocked configuration, in which the second member is rotatable about the centerline independently of rotation of the base member. The second member may further have a first recess that receives the first locking extension in the locked configuration.

Abstract: A coupling may be configured to receive and secure an insertion end of a conduit. An outer surface of the insertion end of the conduit may be smooth and free of grooves, flanges and beads. A first member of the coupling may define a first passageway. A second member of the coupling may define a second passageway. The first member may be in spin weld engagement with the second member. A gripping ring having an inner edge defining a series of teeth may be disposed within the second member. A support ring and O-ring may also be disposed within the second member.
