Abstract: The present invention provides novel .mu.-Oxo-aluminum/gallium phthalocyanine dimer having a structure of the formula (A): ##STR1## The .mu.-oxo-aluminum/gallium phthalocyanine dimer, and the mixed crystals comprising the .mu.-oxo-aluminum/gallium phthalocyanine dimer are suitable as a charge generating material for an organic photoconductive material, such as an electrophotographic photoreceptor.

Abstract: Polyethylene terephthalate resin composition comprising a polyethylene terephthalate resin and nigrosine, optionally containing fibrous reinforcing material, e.g. in an amount of about 10 to 120% by weight relative to the polyethylene terephthalate resin. The polyethylene terephthalate resin composition enables the production of molded products good in appearance, surface gloss, mechanical characteristics and light fastness. The composition has a crystallization rate upon molding which is lower than that of a corresponding natural polyethylene terephthalate resin containing no coloring agents and which is also lower than that of a corresponding polyethylene terephthalate resin composition comprising a polyethylene terephthalate resin and carbon black. The composition is capable of forming a molded product that can elongate more than 200% and also more than two times relative to a corresponding natural polyethylene terephthalate resin containing no coloring agents.

Abstract: An aqueous pigment ink composition comprising an oxidized carbon black obtained by wet-oxidation of a carbon black using a hypohalous acid and/or salt thereof, and a water-soluble cationic polymer or oligomer in an aqueous medium. The aqueous pigment ink composition of the present invention does not cause clogging in a nozzle when used for ink jet recording, enables smooth writing from a narrow pen tip, and provides a recorded image excellent in water resistance and light resistance and excellent in density and hue.
Abstract: Disclosed is an aqueous pigment ink composition comprising water and oxidized carbon black dispersed stably in the water, wherein said oxidized carbon black is obtained by oxidizing carbon black using hypohalous acid and/or salt thereof and wherein at least a part of an acidic group existing on the surface of said oxidized carbon black associates with an amine compound to form an ammonium salt. The aqueous pigment ink composition realizes smooth printing with ink jet nozzle, and smooth writing with fine pen tip and it has sufficient density. Further, the recorded traces obtained by using the ink composition is excellent in water resistance.

This disazo dye composition provides a high quality image, rapid ink fixing and the like even on the plain paper.
