Patents Assigned to Osaka Bobbin Kabushiki Kaisha
  • Patent number: 5105602
Abstract: An automatic wrapping apparatus of cylindrical articles, particularly plastic bobbins. The apparatus includes feed rollers for feeding two wrapping sheets therebetween in opposed manner to form a bottom portion for a wrapping bag. A loading device is provided for loading bobbins onto the bottom portion by holding each unit of regularly arranged bobbins and dropping it in an orderly state. A support member is provided for supporting the bobbins unit by unit from underneath and causing the bobbin unit whenever dropped to descend by the bobin height, thus stacking bobbin units one upon another. A basket-like retainer is provided for receiving the bobbin units descending with stacking to retain them in the place so as to keep the orderly state. A heat sealer is provided for uniting the bottom portion and a top margin of the wrapping bag. A side heat sealer is provided for uniting both sides of the bag.

  • Patent number: 4796320
Abstract: Mass treatment system for dyeing and hydro-extracting yarn cheeses sequentially and automatically which comprises a combination of: a circulation rail resting thereon a plurality of mobile trucks which are adapted to mount thereon cheese spindles and convey them to each treatment station; cheese pressing means including extension spindle inserting means and means for inserting a plurality of cheeses at a time on empty spindles surmounted with the extension spindles; dyeing means including loading means of cheese-spindles on a carrier for charging into a dyeing machine and a turntable for charging or discharging the loaded carrier rested thereon into or from the dyeing machine; transfer means of as-dyed cheese-spindles onto the trucks; hydro-extracting means including means for transferring dyed cheese-spindles into a hydro-extracting basket, means for placing the basket thus filled in a hydro-extractor, and means for discharging hydro-extracted cheeses along with the basket and transferring them to the trucks

  • Patent number: 4720057
Abstract: A press bobbin for yarn treatment formed of a cylindrical wall which is fabricated by blow molding of a synthetic plastic and comprises relatively thin-gage zones and relatively thick-gage zones extending circumferentially and alternately arranged in the axial direction of the bobbin. The cylindrical wall defines an indentation configuration along the axial direction wherein the thin-gage zones correspond to projecting portions and the thick-gage zones to recessed portions. The thick-gage zones are defined with holes for passage of liquid and the thin-gage zones are, when pressed axially, bendable in a U-form to protrude outwardly, thereby to be axially compressible. The relatively thick-gage zones may be provided with reinforcing members which serve to suppress compression of the bobbin.

  • Patent number: 4464846
Abstract: A hydro-extracting apparatus for drying cheeses of yarn comprises a rotary table having a plurality of spindles mounted thereon, on which spindles cheeses of dyed yarn are mounted vertically, a device for holding and conveying the cheeses one by one, which device includes a cheese lifting mechanism and a movable arm mechanism having chucks for engaging and releasing cheeses, this device being adapted for conveying cheeses one by one from the spindles of the rotary table to a hydro-extractor and, after hydro-extraction, to deliver the cheeses one by one to a cheese receiving unit, and a centrifugal hydro-extractor for hydro-extracting each of the cheeses, which hydro-extractor is laterally spaced apart from and adjacent to the foregoing device for conveying the cheeses. A flexible drive shaft and a spring are provided in the hydro-extractor to absorb vibrations, whereby hydro-extraction of dyed cheeses can be performed intermittently, consecutively and efficiently.

  • Patent number: 4423609
Abstract: A quick-release fastening device for securing a bobbin spacer to a spindle on which bobbins are axially mounted while allowing the absorption of thermal expansion of the bobbins, which device comprises a locking rod adapted to be firmly secured, at one end, to the spindle. The rod has an annular groove therein. Upper fastening means includes a sleeve slidably fitted on the locking rod which sleeve has ball-holding holes at the position corresponding to the annular groove and balls are located in the holes. A locking slide member is mounted on the sleeve which member is slidable freely along the sleeve and has a recess at its inner side. A compression spring is disposed in the recess and serves to cause sliding of the slide member. A flange member is provided surrounding the uppermost part of the sleeve above the recess and is fitted in the locking member. The balls are held between the annular groove of the locking rod and the slide member.

  • Patent number: 4270710
Abstract: A resiliently compressible bobbin comprising two end rings disposed opposite to one another in a spaced relationship, a plurality of transverse ring frames distributed equidistantly between and in parallel with the end rings and a plurality of straight longitudinal frames interconnecting the end rings and distributed equidistantly around the periphery of the bobbin. The longitudinal frames each have a thickness gradient decreasing radially outwardly, are flush with the end ring's inner and outer peripheral surfaces and are constructed so that portions on opposite sides of a transverse ring frame are gradually increased in thickness toward the transverse ring frame in the same direction, but in opposite directions relative to the portions on opposite sides of the adjacently disposed transverse ring frame, the midportion between transverse ring frames being narrowed.

  • Patent number: 4056860
Abstract: Yarns spun by a fine spinning frame are rewound from the spun cops directly into cheeses on compressible bobbins which are contractable in the axial and radial directions. The bobbins with cheese thus wound up are piled one upon another on spindles of a carrier without interposing any spacer therebetween and compressed in the axial direction so that both ends of every bobbin come in the same planes with both ends of respective cheese. By dyeing the cheeses in this condition by a usual cheese dyeing method, a uniform dyeing without any dyeing unevenness can be effected in a greatly simplified process.
