Abstract: An electrical connection terminal has a foot with two oppositely directed fingers, the underside of which has a receiving claw and a U-shaped extension with an inwardly open mouth-like recess for engaging the side flanges of a carrier rail, as well as a screw for clamping the recess. The U-shaped extension is wider than the carrier rail, such that the screw passes through externally of the carrier rail. A resiliently deformable element is arranged in the mouth-like recess which at least temporarily holds the terminal fast on the carrier rail.
Abstract: A threadless electric connector includes a V-shaped plate spring having wing sections joined together to form a vertex at one end and overlapping arms at opposite ends having openings therein spaced from terminal ends of the arms such that an end portion of one of the arms at least partially blocks the opening in the other arm in an initial condition of the spring. One of the wing sections is attached to a support and electric contact element having a flange lying parallel to the arm of the one wing section and containing an opening. In operation, the wing sections are resiliently movable relatively toward one another for aligning all three openings for the reception of an elongated electric conductor which is clamped in place upon release of the pressure applied.
Abstract: Apparatus for reducing surge voltages comprising at least one voltage surge suppressor arranged in a holder which has an insulating housing and connecting terminals for connection of external electrical conductors to the apparatus. A metallic foot is so formed on the insulating housing that it, together with an associated pressure member, enables the apparatus to be mounted and rigidly clamped by way of a screw bolt in the manner of a terminal block or the like on a protective earth collector rail. The foot is electrically connected with one terminal of the surge suppressor. The other terminal of the surge suppressor is connected with at least one connecting terminal. On rigidly clamping the apparatus to the collector rail, which at the same time serves as a carrier rail, the required connection between the surge suppressor and the protective ground is automatically produced.
Abstract: An electrical terminal having a housing formed of an insulating material and at least one clamping body having an opening for the reception of at least one conductor. At an open flat side of the insulating housing there is arranged at least one insert element formed of insulating material and forming a pocket receiving a blocking flap which prevents the introduction by mistake of a conductor externally of the clamping body into the insulating housing.
