Abstract: The invention relates to a monomode fibre optical collimator, comprising at least one segment of mode expansion fibre, and at least one segment of expansion holding fibre comprising at least a first segment of graded index multimode fibre. The invention also relates to a monomode fibre comprising at its end such an optical collimator, along with the corresponding production method.
