Abstract: An implement for transfer of long pieces. At least two casings are fitted in a frame of the implement. Inside the casings ends of the long pieces bound in a bundle can be inserted. The ends of the pieces are supported to the casings when the piece is lifted, and the casings lift all the pieces with them. Mounting units are fitted in the frame for mounting to a transfer device for moving the implement and for transferring the pieces. A system includes a transfer device, on which the implement is mounted; and at least one bundle of long pieces bound to each other. Placement, shape and dimensions of the pieces substantially corresponds to placement, shape and dimensions of the casings such that the ends of the pieces can be inserted into the casings of the implement for the transfer of the bundle.
Abstract: An implement for manipulating and loading containers. A lifting carriage has a total width smaller than a door opening of a container to be loaded. A guide surface extends over the total width of the lifting carriage. Two fork arms are movable and supported by the guide surface. The fork arms have a narrow position for the manipulation of loads, in which a total width of the arms is smaller than the total width of the lifting carriage. Two bearings move the arms. Each bearing is provided between each arm and the guide surface. The fork arms also have a wide position for manipulating containers and for fork pockets of a container, in which the total width of the arms is greater than the total width of the lifting carriage. In another example, two transfer carriages are provided, which are coupled to the lifting carriage and are movable and supported by the guide surface.

Abstract: Transfer machine, intended for transferring loads (K), especially containers, wherein the transfer machine comprises a frame (R) equipped with a wheelwork (P); a horizontal support plane (1) located in connection with the frame (R) for supporting the load (K) during the transfer, and a vertical transfer apparatus (S) for lifting the load (K) on the support of the support plane (1) and off the support of the support plane (1), wherein the vertical transfer apparatus (S) is arranged to lift and lower loads (K) from the side of the transfer machine and thereby from the side of the support plane (1). The vertical transfer apparatus (S) of the transfer machine is placed in connection with the frame (R) on the first side of the support plane (1), and the vertical transfer apparatus (S) is arranged to reach over the support plane when lifting or lowering the load (K), in order to move the load (K) onto the support plane (1) or off the support plane (1) from the second side of the support plane (1).
