    Abstract: A mold assembly for supporting a mold in a molding press, heating elements for controlling the temperature of the mold and an insulating arrangement, disposed between the heating elements and structure of the molding press, having an insulating cavity defined by mold support structure and having thermally reflective means disposed in said cavity remote from the heating elements to reflect heat back through the cavity. The cavity may have an insulating material therein.
