Abstract: A method of controlling contact load in an apparatus for mounting electronic components on a substrate includes a head holding an electronic component being lowered at a first speed to a first position where the electronic component does not contact the substrate. The head is lowered at a second speed slower than the first speed from the first position until a predetermined target contact load is detected. The head is moved down by a small step for a predetermined distance at the second speed and a contact load is measured after moving the head down. The method includes determining whether a measured contact load has reached the predetermined target contact load. The moving and the measuring is sequentially repeated until the measured contact load reaches the predetermined target contact load. The predetermined distance is set to a first predetermined distance when moving the head down until the electronic component contacts the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20090073029
Abstract: A radar apparatus includes a PN code generator for generating a PN code, a variable delay device for delaying the PN code, an oscillator for generating a high-frequency signal, a transmission frequency multiplier for multiplying a frequency of a transmission differential signal obtained by being divided from the high-frequency signal by 3, a reception frequency multiplier for multiplying a frequency of a reception differential signal obtained by being divided from the high-frequency by 3, a transmitter for generating a radar wave by using the differential signal obtained through the multiplication by the transmission frequency multiplier and the PN code generated by the PN code generator, and a receiver for generating an in-phase signal and a quadrature signal from a reflected wave by using the differential signal obtained through the multiplication by the reception frequency multiplier and the PN code delayed by the delay device.

  • Publication number: 20090064487
Abstract: A prismatic battery with highly reliable sealing properties and its manufacturing method, wherein a negative collector is welded to one end of an electrode plate group accommodated in a prismatic case, the collector being connected to an electrode pole that functions as the negative electrode terminal, and the electrode pole is fitted into a support cylinder that is provided on an upper lid for closing one open end of the case. An insulating gasket is interposed between an inner periphery of the support cylinder and an outer periphery of the electrode pole, the support cylinder being formed with at least one annular crimped portion that has an arc-shaped longitudinal cross section.
