Patent number: 11117605Abstract: A transportation dolly can have a frame, two axles pivotally coupled with the frame, each axle having two distal ends and a wheel assembly coupled at each distal end and a synchronous steering system. The synchronous steering system can include an intermediate link pivotally coupled with the frame, the intermediate link having a two distal ends, and a first push-pull rod coupling one of the two axles with the intermediate link, and a second push-pull rod coupling the other of the two axles with the intermediate link. The first push-pull rod is coupled to one distal end of the intermediate link and the second push-pull rod is coupled to the opposing distal end of the intermediate link. The first push-pull rod, the second push-pull rod, and the intermediate link provide counter phase synchronous pivoting of the two axles relative to the transportation dolly.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2019Date of Patent: September 14, 2021Assignee: Par-Kan Company, LLCInventors: Brent Eckerley, George Donald Thomas Shoebridge, Elizabeth Claire Vinson

Patent number: 10829096Abstract: A vehicle brake system operable to simultaneously apply an equal amount of braking pressure to a plurality of tires. The system includes a pair of brake guides, a brake bar secured to the brake guides, and a control bar secured to the brake bar. The control bar is operable to move the brake bar back and forth so that a portion of the brake bar selectively abuts the plurality of tires to apply the braking pressure. The system may be retrofitted to existing vehicles or fitted to new vehicles.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2017Date of Patent: November 10, 2020Assignee: Par-Kan Company, LLCInventors: Michael Keller, Michael Atchison, Kyle Bruner

Patent number: 8628283Abstract: A seed transporter for transporting seeds in their seed boxes having a frame with an upper surface for supporting the seed box. The frame has upstanding members that extend upwardly from the frame and are adapted for contacting opposite sides of the seed box and for restraining movement of the seed box when the seed box is located between the upstanding members. The upstanding members include a draw bar that is slidingly retained within the upstanding members. The draw bar includes a catch affixed to the draw bar adapted for catching a retention surface on the seed box. The draw bar is movable between a first and second position. The first position locates the catch above the retention surface and the second position locates the catch beyond the retention surface on the box.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2012Date of Patent: January 14, 2014Assignee: Par-Kan CompanyInventor: James Erick Flinn
