Patent number: 6256831Abstract: A bath scrubber includes an outer bag and a sponge received in the outer bag. The outer bag is made of a fabric woven from thin and thick yarns of twisted artificial fibers. The thin yarns are densely woven to form a base of the fabric, and the thick yarns are evenly woven into and distributed among said thin yarns, such that the thick yarns intersect one another to divide the base of the fabric densely woven from the thin yarns into a plurality of separated small areas, and intersections of the thick yarns are wound by the thin yarns. The small areas enclosed by the thick yarns allow more bubbles to be held on the bath scrubber for a prolonged time. A difference in height exists between the thin yarns and the thick yarns to give the outer bag of the bath scrubber a rough surface that enables good cleaning and massaging effect on a user's skin.Type: GrantFiled: June 16, 1999Date of Patent: July 10, 2001Assignee: Confirm Personal Care Industrial Corp.Inventor: Kuo-Chin Chen

Patent number: 6092257Abstract: Disclosed is a bath ball formed from at least two long sleeves of elastic nets woven out of different artificial fibers. The nets are sequentially put around a mold and axially compressed inward from two ends layer by layer to produce a multi-layer ruffled body on the mold. The ruffled body is tightened at two diametrically opposite points and removed from the mold, forming a bath ball having naturally spread dense ruffles. The dense ruffles give the bath ball better ability to hold sufficient bubbles to facilitate convenient and effective body cleansing. Moreover, the bath ball includes artificial fibers having different degrees of coarseness and can therefore be used to properly clean different body areas.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 1998Date of Patent: July 25, 2000Assignee: Confirm Personal Care Industrial Corp.Inventor: Kuo-Chin Chen

Patent number: 6038727Abstract: A bath ball is formed from multiple layers of superposed elastic nets woven out of artificial fibers. The elastic nets are axially compressed to produce a corrugated ring that is tightened at two diametrically opposite points with fastening means, such that outer peripheries of the corrugated ring automatically widely spread to form a loosely ruffled spherical body. The multiple layers of elastic nets have numerous overlapped meshes that define numerous small angular spaces to enable the bath ball formed from the elastic nets to produce more bubbles from reduced amount of cleansing product.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 1999Date of Patent: March 21, 2000Assignee: Confirm Personal Care Industrial Corp.Inventor: Kuo-Chin Chen

Patent number: 5947564Abstract: Disclosed is a method for forming a ruffled cleaning device that includes a ruffled body connected to an inner ring in a manner facilitating convenient and effective body cleansing. The ruffled body is formed by axially ruffling at least two layers of elastic nets and tightening a center thereof to form a bow-shaped ruffled body having two through holes. The inner ring is flattened and threaded through the two holes of the ruffled body and tightened at two ends to interlock with the ruffled body. When the ruffled body is compressed against one end of the inner ring, ruffles on the ruffled body are more densely arranged and spread apart from an outer periphery thereof to form a scrubbing portion with increased contact area and elasticity to more effectively clean skin.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 1998Date of Patent: September 7, 1999Assignee: Confirm Personal Care Industrial Corp.Inventor: Kuo-Chin Chen
