Patents Assigned to Peter Gleim
  • Patent number: 8496571
Abstract: The apparatus consists of a pulse generator, a control device, and a field generating device which jointly generate a pulsed electromagnetic field, wherein series of pulses that have specific intensities and are applied at specific intervals and at different frequencies influence the pulsation of the field, thus making it possible to cause stimulating effects on homeostatic autoregulatory mechanisms in the organism. The pulsed electromagnetic field of the invention achieves greater changes in characteristics and significantly longer decay times than previously known electromagnetic fields. The long-term effectiveness can thereby be prolonged up to ten fold.

  • Publication number: 20120184802
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for stimulating local and higher homeostatic autoregulatory mechanisms during the sleep phase and the rest or relaxation phase of the organism by means of a pulsed electromagnetic field. Said apparatus comprises a pulse generator, a control device, and a field generating device. The pulse generator is designed in such a way as to generate a pulsed electromagnetic field along with the control device and the field generating device by applying 5 special series of pulses in which the frequency is the same for all signals, ranging from 8 to 15 Hz, the series of pulses are repeated multiple times, and the control time amounts to at least 3.5 h within a period of 7 to 9 hours.

  • Publication number: 20110313235
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for modulating perfusion in the microcirculation of the blood. The apparatus consists of a first device for generating a pulsed electromagnetic field having a synchronous or asynchronous specific pulse sequence of a periodic electromagnetic field, including a first group of pulses with a pulse time of 0.1 to 0.2 seconds at 35 to 100 ?T and a second group of pulses of 10 to 30 seconds at 2 to 40 ?T, a second device for circulating the lymph flow, said second device being used to trigger massaging pulses at increasing and decreasing pressures via several massaging arrangements arranged next to each other, and a third device for emitting infrared radiation, said third device emitting at least one heat pulse, as well as a control unit by means of which the pulses of the three devices are controlled such that two or three devices simultaneously emit pulses.
