Abstract: The invention relates to a permanent method of repairing leaking, damaged, or weakened pipe by grit blasting the pipe (10), followed by wrapping it with a fiber reinforced composite material (12), then installing two half oversized steel sleeves (14). After that the non-gaseous matter is removed by fresh water and compressed air or inert gas. An epoxy or cementitious grout or combination of both is finally injected into annular chamber 20 of the sleeves through pre-installed inlet port (16) and outlet port (18). The epoxy or cementitious is then allowed to cure. The terminal end of the steel sleeves may be sealed using a pair end flanges (32) matingly securable to a pair of terminator bodies (45).
Abstract: An apparatus to seal terminal ends of the two half oversized sleeves, positionable on the external circumferential side of affected riser pipes. The apparatus comprises of a pair of flange bodies integral to the two half oversized sleeves and a pair of terminator bodies. Each flange body includes a semi-circular collar with a plurality of bores and a semi-circular lip. The terminator body includes a semi-circular collar with a plurality of bores and a semi-circular recess structured and configured to receive the respective semi-circular lip. Two semi-circular graphite strips are introducible into the semi-circular recess. The terminator body is secured against the flange body by tightening of nuts and bolts introduced between the bores in the flange body and the terminator body.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a protective device for a nut and bolt assembly which assembly is used to secure two or more parts together. The invention a tubular shaft member to protect the bolt and a tubular shaft or hemispherical body to cover the nut or to cover the tubular shaft and nut together. The tubular shaft is either an independent unit or is integrally connected to the hemispherical body. In more embodiments a connecter unit is used. Grease or other protective agent is introduced into assembly to prevent rust and deterioration.

Abstract: An apparatus powered by waves, currents, or tides for eliminating or preventing marine growth on a structure. The apparatus includes (a) at least one ring adapted to surround a submerged support member of the structure, the at least one ring being substantially continuous; (b) at least one pair of rollers rotatable against a surface of the support member for cleaning the surface of the support member; and (c) a linking member for linking the roller means to the ring without interrupting continuity of the substantially continuous ring and for allowing rotation of the rollers against the surface of the support member in response to forces generated by the waves, currents or tides.
