  • Patent number: 11952692
Abstract: A stitch-forming tool assembly for a sewing machine is used to produce a double-chain stitch seam. A sewing needle of the assembly can be driven up and down in a needle stitching direction perpendicular to a material to be sewn and is designed to guide a needle thread. A looper of the assembly is designed to guide a looper thread and for oscillating movement in an oscillating movement plane. The latter is spanned by the needle stitching direction and by a sewing direction along the double chain stitch seam. During an entire double chain stitch a path of movement of the looper lies completely in the oscillating movement plane. This results in a stitch-forming tool assembly in which in particular a looper drive is simplified.

  • Publication number: 20230077246
Abstract: A sewing machine has seam-forming tools, comprising a needle for guiding an upper thread and a looper. The needle is designed as a curved needle which is pivotable about a needle pivot axis. This embodiment is such that a distance of the curved needle from the pivot axis is equal to a radius of a curve of the curved needle about the pivot axis. The looper is designed as a looper which is rotatable about a looper rotational axis and has a lower thread reserve. The looper rotational axis runs parallel to a sewing material support region. The sewing machine can be used to produce a durable seam.

  • Patent number: 11441253
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling the position of a seam contour and a device for carrying out the method, wherein the position control of a seam contour relative to structures of a sewing material is based on comparison data of a structure of a reference sewing material and a structure of a working sewing material.

  • Publication number: 20220178062
Abstract: A thread finger assembly for a sewing machine has at least one thread finger. The latter can be actuated between a loop engagement position and a loop pull-out position. The loop engagement position serves for the engagement of the thread finger in a thread loop generated by the sewing machine in a stitch forming region. The loop pull-out position is displaced relative to the loop engagement position for pulling out the thread loop with the thread finger, away from the stitch forming area. A thread finger drive serves for actuating the thread finger between the loop engagement position and the loop pull-out position. This results in an assembly of a sewing machine with which an appealing seam pattern is generated in a reproducible manner at a seam beginning.

  • Patent number: 11268225
Abstract: Sewing machine with a sewing machine housing (2) comprising a lower housing part (3), an upper housing part (4) with a sewing head (6) and a stand (5), which connects the lower housing part (3) to the upper housing part (4), wherein the upper housing part (4) comprises a stand-side arm housing section (7), a head-side arm housing section (8) and a joint (23), wherein the joint (23) is arranged in such a manner that the head-side arm housing section (8) can be swiveled between a preparation position for the picking up/delivering of a sewing material and a sewing position for sewing the sewing material.

  • Patent number: 10947653
Abstract: A material web fixing device is used as part of a filter bag manufacturing installation. A material web transport device is used to transport at least two material webs, which fixed together at a distance from one another by at least one fixing seam, along a transport direction. A plurality of sewing units each have stitch forming tools configured as a sewing needle and a looper which interact with a thread. The material webs can be passed through between said stitch forming tools in the transport direction. An excess thread production unit is used to lengthen a thread path between the material webs. The excess thread production unit is arranged between the material webs in the thread run during operation. As a result, a material web fixing device is obtained, which allows filter bags to be produced with larger bag openings, particularly with larger opening extensions between the material webs.

A needle-bar upper part of a sewing head is mounted so as to be pivotable in a driven manner about a needle-bar longitudinal axis. A gripper lower part is mounted so as to be pivotable in a driven manner, and in a manner synchronous with the needle-bar upper part, about the needle-bar longitudinal axis, in the sewing-head lower part. Motor components for driving the movement of a needle bar, for pivoting the needle-bar upper part, for driving a gripper in a manner synchronous with the needle bar and for pivoting the gripper lower part are disposed outside the needle-bar upper part and outside the gripper lower part. Parts to be sewn that are topographically non-uniform are also rendered accessible.
