The rotatable flash trigger may include a hot shoe connector, a trigger body, and a rotation mechanism positioned between the trigger body and the hot shoe connector. The trigger body may be configured to rotate with respect to one axis or multiple axes. Additionally, a surface of the trigger body may include a hot shoe receptor.

Abstract: Camera flash systems and methods for data transmission between cameras and flash devices remote to the camera for remotely adjusting flash exposure power of the flash devices are disclosed. The camera flash systems include a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter receives camera output data from a camera that includes exposure power data for at least one flash device remote to the transmitter and user input data that includes adjustments to the flash exposure power data for the at least one flash device. The transmitter is operable to transmit the adjusted flash exposure power data to the at least one flash device. The receiver receives the adjusted flash exposure power data from the transmitter and is operable to transmit the adjusted flash exposure power data to a flash device.

Abstract: A transmitter used for wireless multi-zone independent control of flash devices is disclosed. The transmitter includes a zone signal transmitting unit at a transmitter terminal connected to a micro processing unit. The zone signal transmission unit at the transmitter terminal is connected with a zone selection unit at the transmitter terminal with multiple independent switch devices and a zone display unit at the transmitter terminal connected to the transmitter terminal. A corresponding receiver, and a system consisting of said transmitter and multiple receivers, are also disclosed.
