The first insertion shaft extends distally from the ornamental article in a first direction and the second insertion shaft extends distally from the ornamental article in a second direction. The first insertion shaft and the second insertion shaft to insert into one or more objects, such as a vegetable, gourd, or synthetic object, to attach the press ornament thereto to form a display.
Abstract: A method for forming a craft coating on a glass or ceramic substrate is provided. The method generally includes applying a coating composition comprising an acetoacetoxy functional monomer to a glass or ceramic substrate to form a craft coating thereon. The glass or ceramic substrate can form a portion of an article of windows, kitchenwares, decorative housewares, and ceramic tiles.
Abstract: A device for loading a paintbrush with two colors of paint without mixing the colors together until the artist is ready to blend the colors during the brush strokes. The device includes a base having a pressure sensitive adhesive on one side thereof and a release liner on the adhesive. When the release liner is removed, the center portion of the base is folded together and the remaining portion of the device is applied to a substrate such as a palette or dish. A different color paint is placed on each side of the divider and a paintbrush is loaded with the two paints simultaneously.
Abstract: An improved stencil set and method of applying stenciled designs to a surface is provided. A plurality of stencil sheets are provided wherein each stencil sheet has a distinct portion of the design represented by cutout areas in the sheet and remaining portions of the design visibly printed on the sheet. The sheets are used in sequence to apply the design to a surface and, in the preferred embodiment, with each sheet, the portions of the design not being immediately applied to the surface are visible to the user on the stencil sheet itself.
