  • Patent number: 5909812
Abstract: A container for storing and transporting articles, such as leadframes. The container includes a base with a planar wall having an upwardly facing surface defined by a peripheral edge, and at least two upwardly extending, opposite posts secured to the upper surface of the planar wall. The posts are spaced interiorly from the peripheral edge of the upwardly facing surface wherein each post has an outwardly facing surface and an inwardly facing surface that is tapered outwardly from the top of the post to the bottom of the post. The articles are positioned between the inwardly facing surfaces of the posts. A cover is releasably securable to the planar wall of the base. The cover includes a top wall and a peripheral, downwardly extending wall formed to the outer periphery of the top wall. The peripheral wall is positioned adjacent the peripheral edge of the upwardly facing surface of the base and outwardly with respect to the posts of the base when securing the cover to the base.

  • Patent number: 5263587
Abstract: An inflatable pouch for packaging a circuit board is formed from two superposed sheets of an electrostatically dissipative plastic. The plastic sheets are welded together to form two air chambers therebetween, each having a plurality of passages therein and they are folded over along a transverse centerline so as to form a bottom end along the centerline, an open end opposite the bottom end and opposing front and rear walls. The side portions of the front and rear walls are welded together to form the side edges of the pouch. The passages in the front wall adjacent the open end of the pouch include enlarged portions which are transversely offset from and interengageable with corresponding enlarged portions in the rear wall to prevent a circuit board from sliding out the top of the pouch. Both air chambers are inflatable through a single inlet aperture which is sealable with a clamp.

  • Patent number: 5074409
Abstract: A method of making a jewelry display card includes the steps of welding a plastic hanger member on the rear side of a plastic card member so that the hanger member is spaced inwardly by at least approximately one-sixteenth of an inch from the perimeter of the card member, overlaying a foam pad on the front side of the card member, overlaying a flexible, plastic sheet on the foam pad and welding the flexible, plastic sheet to the card member along a welded seam which extends around substantially the entire perimeter of the card member.

  • Patent number: 4907425
Abstract: A method of forming a jewelry clutch includes the steps of molding an inner gripping piece from a substantially solid, elastomeric, thermoplastic material and forming a plastic outer casing having an opening at one end thereof around the gripping piece. The method further includes the step of inserting an elongated stud or post into the opening in the casing so that the post penetrates through the gripping piece to form a substantially resealable opening therein. The clutch formed by the method can be installed on the post or stud of a jewelry item so that the stud passes through the opening in the outer casing and is received in the resealable opening in the gripping piece to releasably retain the post in the clutch.
