Abstract: A method and a device for confirmation automatically of the state of tightness of fastenings of railroad tracks are provided, so that from a train that is traveling over a track it is possible to detect a signal from each of the fastenings which indicates if the degree of tightness of these fastenings is sufficient, or if, to the contrary, the fastening is deficient because it is either loose or damaged. For this, a device according to the invention comprises a pressure sensor element and at least one electrically conducting element connected to the pressure sensor, whereby a variation is produced of at least one electric magnitude/value proportional to the pressure of tightness present in at least one point in said fastening during the passage of a train. The invention also relates to an insulating plate for fastenings and to railroad track plant, which incorporate a sensor device object of the invention.
Abstract: The “Improved hydraulic diaphragm valve, for fluid flow regulation” which constitutes the object of this Patent, contains a semi-conical deflector (2) with an open and flat upper face (3), its perimeter being an isosceles triangle and its cross section equal to that of the valve passage, the semi-cone (2) and the triangle (3) being oriented towards the intake of the fluid.
The diaphragm (4) is seated on the flat section (3) pressed by the fluid contained in the chamber formed by the cover (5) and the diaphragm (4); whilst by draining the fluid from the chamber, the intake pressure lifts the diaphragm (4) off its seating.
Shutting or reducing flow is produced in the upstream direction, and opening or increasing flow, downstream.
Abstract: A modular block for connecting, disconnecting and testing a telephone line, including a plurality of conductor holders each for connecting, or for disconnecting an insulated subscriber wire pair, a plurality of removable elements for providing a connection to an insulated subscriber wire pair, and for manually establishing or cutting the connection between a subscriber wire pair and a conductor holder, at least five, or a plurality of five connecting units each including one of the conductor holders for connecting a subscriber wire pair to a removable element in groups of at least five or a grouping of a plurality of five units, to form the modular block, the connecting units being arranged in two inversely symmetrical parallel rows to form one row and another row, with three of each five units being disposed in one row and the remaining two of each five units being disposed in the other row.
Abstract: The object of the present invention is constituted by an improved self-compensating dropper, for underground irrigation, which is provided at its out-put mouth (1) with a spherical valve (2), of irreversible unidirectional flow in the out-put direction, though it prevents the entrance to its interior, of earth or gravel which might obstruct it or make it unusable. The sphere (2) is retained by a central stop (6) joined to the body of the dropper by attachment lugs (5), among which there are orifices (4) in the shape of circular crown segments through which the irrigation water may flow.
