Patent number: 11983853Abstract: Systems and methods for generating training data using synthesized input images for training a machine learning model for image enhancement in accordance with embodiments of the invention are described. The system may access a target image (e.g., captured by an imaging device), and generate an input image that corresponds to the target image. The input image and target image may then be used (e.g., as part of a training data set) to train the machine learning model. For example, a generated input image corresponding to a target image may represent a version of the target image as if it were captured in low light. The target image may be a target illuminated output to be generated by enhancing the input image. The input image and target image may be used to train a machine learning model to enhance images such as those captured in low light.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2020Date of Patent: May 14, 2024Assignee: Meta Plattforms, Inc.Inventors: Bo Zhu, Haitao Yang, Liying Shen, Ege Ozgirin

Patent number: 10944289Abstract: A smart power system is described. In one or more implementations, the smart power system comprises a microcontroller and a power converter electrically connected to the microcontroller and is configured to convert electrical energy from one form to another. The system also includes a switch element electrically connected to the microcontroller and configured to control distribution of the converted electrical energy to an electrical load. A sense element is electrically connected to the electrical load and to the microcontroller and is configured to monitor the converted electrical energy distributed to the electrical load and to furnish a feedback signal based upon the converted electrical energy. The microcontroller is configured to verify and to monitor the power converter, as well as to control and to monitor distribution of the converted electrical energy to the electrical load based upon the feedback signal.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2018Date of Patent: March 9, 2021Assignee: BEDROCK AUTOMATION PLATTFORMS INC.Inventors: James G. Patent number: 8745930Abstract: A composite floor panel includes a frame assembly having a base plate, a plurality of first lateral supports secured to the base plate, and a plurality of second lateral supports secured to the base plate. The first lateral supports lie in a first plane and the second lateral supports lie in a second plane. The first plane and the second plane each intersect the base plate and the first plane is disposed at an angle relative to the second plane. The composite floor panel also includes a concrete portion coupled to and supported by the first lateral supports and the second lateral supports.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2012Date of Patent: June 10, 2014Assignee: Plattforms, IncInventors: David H Platt, John E Charchenko, Daryl G Hodgson, Russell J Platt

Patent number: 8499511Abstract: A precast composite flooring system utilizes girders and floor panels having steel lower structures placed in tension and concrete upper structures places in compression. Openings through a stem wall allow ducts, pipes, and conduits to be run therethrough. The system provides reduced weight over conventional precast or pour in place systems, allowing further reduction in the weight and size of other building components. The floor deck does not use tensioning strands, allowing openings to be formed at nearly any stage of construction and with reduced concern over cutting steel reinforcement. The floor panels and girders bolt together and bolt to a steel column frame, allowing for more efficient assembly.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2012Date of Patent: August 6, 2013Assignee: Plattforms Inc.Inventors: David H. Platt, John E. Charchenko, Daryl G. Hodgson, Russell J. Platt

Patent number: 8453406Abstract: A composite floor panel includes a concrete floor deck having a side portion and an edge member secured to the side portion. The edge member is configured to be positioned in proximity to an adjacent edge member. The adjacent edge member is coupled to an adjacent concrete floor deck. The edge member is further configured to have a junction formed between the edge member and the adjacent edge member to define a channel. The edge member is further configured to have a binder material placed in the channel to form a joint between the concrete floor deck and the adjacent concrete floor deck.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2010Date of Patent: June 4, 2013Assignee: Plattforms, Inc.Inventors: David H.
