Abstract: An ergonomically effective breast pump includes a pump body including a breast engaging portion, a breast milk receiving container on the pump body, a one-way valve between the pump body and the container and a piston and cylinder assembly for applying vacuum to the interior of the pump body. The breast engaging portion is receivable in engagement with a breast of a user, and the piston and cylinder assembly includes a piston which is moveable in a cylinder in a direction outwardly and away from the user for applying vacuum to the breast of the user through the pump body. The breast pump further includes a thumb receiving element for moving the piston in the cylinder in a direction outwardly and away from the user with a thumb on a hand of the user, a handle element receivable in the same hand for assisting the user to draw the piston in an outward direction in the cylinder and a spring element for returning the piston in a direction toward the user.

Abstract: An apparatus for forming a modeling composition includes an extruder assembly for receiving and extruding a quantity of said modeling composition, and first and second mold assemblies of different sizes which are removably receivable on the extruder assembly for receiving modeling composition extruded therefrom. Each of the mold assemblies includes a rear plate portion and a front mold cavity portion which is preferably made of a transparent plastic material and adapted to be assembled with the plate portion thereof so that it cooperates therewith to define a mold cavity for receiving modeling composition therein from the extruder.

Abstract: A water toy includes a basket for receiving a ball therein, and a water mechanism for ejecting the ball from the basket. The water mechanism is operative in a first position for emitting a fine spray of water, and in a second position for emitting an upwardly directed high pressure stream of water for ejecting the ball from the basket.

Abstract: A convertible toy truck/wagon includes a chassis and wheel assembly, a truck bed and a handle member pivotally mounted on the chassis and wheel assembly. The chassis and wheel assembly includes a main chassis member, a truck cab on the chassis member and a plurality of wheels for movably supporting the chassis and wheel assembly on a supporting surface. The truck bed is pivotable on the chassis member between a first substantially horizontal position and a second upwardly pivoted position, and the handle member is pivotable between an inoperative first position in which it extends rearwardly from the cab along the chassis member and an operative second position in which it extends forwardly and upwardly from the truck cab.

Abstract: An audio playback device is formed in the configuration of a conventional telephone. The device includes an image plate having a plurality of images thereon, and an integrated circuit assembly having a memory which is pre-programmed with a plurality of sound tracks which correspond to the images on the image plate. The circuit assembly further includes an output unit for outputting selected sound tracks, and a switch assembly for actuating the output unit for outputting selected sound tracks. The device is further provided with a rotatable selector for individually selecting the images and for operating the switch assembly.

Abstract: A descending ball game apparatus includes a gate deflect channel member and a pivoting ramp channel member. The gate deflect channel member includes two gates which are positioned adjacent to opposing sidewalls of a channel portion thereof and are operative for deflecting a ball back-and-forth from one sidewall of the channel portion to the other sidewall thereof as the ball descends along the channel portion. The pivoting ramp channel member includes upper and lower level channel segments and a pivoting ramp positioned therebetween. The ramp is operative for receiving a ball descending along the upper level of the channel segment and delivering the ball into the lower level channel segment.

Abstract: A roller skate assembly includes a sole portion having longitudinally aligned front and rear rollers mounted thereon and a center roller which is mounted on the sole portion between the front and rear rollers. The center roller is alternatively positionable in a longitudinally aligned position relative to the front and rear rollers or a transversely offset position relative thereto.

Abstract: A toy includes a base, a character figure on the base, and a dome-shaped housing on the base over the character figure. The housing includes inner and outer transparent shell portions which cooperate to define an enclosed cavity therebetween, and transparent liquid having sparkling particles suspended therein is received in the cavity. A second embodiment of the toy includes an opaque housing having a window therein. The window includes spaced transparent inner and outer shell portions which cooperate to define a cavity therebetween, and a transparent liquid is received in the cavity.

Abstract: A toy top comprises a base plate having a plurality of apertures therein, a rotatable disk which is mounted beneath the base plate, a plurality of balls which are received on the base plate and a transparent dome enclosing the balls and the base plate. The device is operative by depressing a central plunger to rotate the disk beneath the base plate. The rotatable disk has a plurality of projections thereon which pass beneath the apertures in the base plate so that they engage any of the balls received in the apertures to bump or pop the balls out of the apertures as the disk is rotated.

Abstract: A toy gear assembly includes a base, a ring gear assembly, a drive gear, a tripod-like support frame assembly and a plurality of secondary gears. The ring gear assembly includes a rotatable gear ring portion and the ring gear assembly and the drive gear are securable on the base so that the drive gear is received in the interior of the ring gear assembly for rotating the gear ring portion thereof. The support frame assembly is also releasably securable on the base and the secondary gears are receivable on the base and on the support frame assembly for forming various different gear train combinations thereon.

Abstract: A child's walker toy includes a walker unit and a sound and light module on the walker unit. The walker unit is operable by a toddler-age child for stabilizing the child during a walking exercise; and the sound and light module is responsive to movement of the walker toy on a supporting surface for producing predetermined sound and light signals.

Abstract: A training wheel assembly includes a pair of training wheels and a pair of mounting members for mounting the training wheels in outwardly spaced relation to opposite sides of a rear wheel of a bicycle. The training wheel assembly is adjustable for moving the training wheels thereof inwardly relative to the rear wheel of a bicycle in order to reduce the amount of support provided by the training wheels without increasing the tendency of the bicycle to yaw or wobble from side-to-side during use.

Abstract: A carousel mechanism includes spaced upper and lower rotatable platforms, a plunger assembly for rotating the lower platform, and a plurality of rollers which are rotatably mounted between the upper and lower platforms and operative for communicating rotation from the lower platform to the upper platform. The plunger assembly is manually depressible and it includes a clutch assembly for rotating the lower platform as the plunger assembly is resiliently returned to an upwardly extended position.
