Abstract: An expandable device includes a base having a top side and a bottom side, an expanding mechanism operably coupled to the base, and a button. The bottom side of the base is adapted to engage a portion of a portable electronic device. The button has a top side and a bottom side and is operably coupled to the expanding mechanism. The expanding mechanism is selectively movable between a first configuration whereby the button is disposed in a first, collapsed configuration and a second configuration whereby the button is disposed in a second, expanded configuration. Upon urging the button to the first configuration, the expandable device retains the button in the first configuration, and upon further urging the button towards the base, the button is released from the first configuration and moves to the second configuration.

Abstract: A docking accessory platform adapted to couple to a mobile electronic device includes a first docking connector portion comprising a first magnetic element configured to detachably attach to a second docking connector portion of a power accessory, where the second docking connector portion comprises a second magnetic element. The docking accessory platform also includes a back portion opposite the first docking connector portion, the back portion configured to be secured against a back surface of the mobile electronic device, and a side portion configured to extend around at least a portion of a side of the mobile electronic device. The power accessory includes an accessory body and an electronic assembly within the accessory body, where the electronic assembly includes a battery and electronics operable to wirelessly transfer power through the platform, between the battery and the mobile electronic device.

Abstract: A docking accessory adapted to couple to a platform of a mobile electronic device. The docking accessory includes a docking connector portion comprising a first magnetic element configured to detachably attach to a second docking connector portion of the platform, wherein the second docking connector portion comprises a second magnetic element. The docking accessory further includes an accordion forming a tapered shape capable of extending outward from the platform generally along its axis to achieve an extended position, and retracting back toward the platform by collapsing generally along its axis to achieve a collapsed position, as well as a foot disposed at the distal end of the accordion. The docking accessory is operable as a stand for the platform and mobile electronic device when the docking accessory is in the extended position.

Abstract: Wireless charging transfer devices are described herein that are configured to achieve wireless charging of portable electronic devices across a gap from a wireless charger. The devices include coil configuration including a receiver coil, a transmitter coil, and a bridge electrically coupling the receiver and transmitter coils across the gap. The coil configuration can be received within a housing that can provide storage space or can incorporate an expandable grip accessory.

Abstract: Extending sockets, formed of accordions generally with buttons attached at their distal ends, for attaching to portable media players or portable media player cases. Cases having attached sockets serve purposes beyond protection of the player, such as managing a headset, attaching to belts or the like, forming stand legs to prop the player at a desired angle, forming grips for gaming, forming a grip for securely holding and manipulating player with one hand, and forming extended legs for wedging players that are phones between the ear and shoulder. The sockets are structured to allow headset cords to be wound around the accordions when the sockets are extended, to prevent the cords from tangling. Space in an attached case may be provided so that the sockets may be partially or fully retracted with headphone cords wrapped around them to save space.
