Abstract: Charging units communicate with an electric vehicle charger controller. A database stores charger data on each of the charging units. A first interface within the electric vehicle charger controller enables communication between the electric vehicle charger controller and the charging units. A second interface within the electric vehicle charger controller enables communications between the electric vehicle charger controller and mobile charging applications to find locations of at least one of the charging units and make reservations with at least one of the charging units. A charger locator controller on the electric vehicle charger controller performs real-time determination of a closest charging unit responsive to the charger data and a current position of an electric vehicle. A reservation controller on the electric vehicle charger controller enables a user of one of the mobile charging applications to select the closest charging unit and make a reservation with the closest charging unit.

Abstract: An apparatus for implementing a power distribution system for electric vehicles charging within a structure that includes a battery for storing electrical energy. A power node module connects to an electrical grid of the structure at a preexisting load point to receive an electric current at a first power level. The power node module charges the battery responsive to the received electric current at the first power level and generates a charging current at a second power level for charging a connected electric vehicle using the stored electrical energy of the battery responsive to a received charging control signal. At least one charger connector connected to the power node module connects the connected electric vehicle to receive the charging current.

Abstract: An adapter for converting a dumb charger into a smart charger includes a first input interface for interconnecting the adapter with a first charging connector of the dumb charger. A second input interface interconnects the adapter with a second charging connector of an electric device. A wireless communications interface provides wireless connectivity to the adapter. The wireless connectivity is initiated responsive to connection of the first input interface with the first charging connector of the dumb charger. Control circuitry interconnects the first input interface with the second input interface. The control circuitry provides a power connection for selectively providing power from the first input interface to the second input interface responsive to commands received over the wireless communications interface.

Abstract: A system for controlling mobile electric vehicle charging platforms includes a plurality of mobile charging platforms for charging an electric vehicle. At least one central server implements a mobile electric vehicle charging system. The mobile electric vehicle charging system further includes a communications interface for transmitting and receiving the control data between the at least one central server implementing the mobile electric vehicle charging system, the plurality of mobile charging platforms and the electric vehicle. A database stores mobile charging platform data and electric vehicle data. An artificial intelligence controller generates the control data to schedule the meeting location between the mobile charging platform and the electric vehicle responsive to first position data received from the mobile charging platform application, second position data received from the electric vehicle, the mobile charging platform data and the electric vehicle data.

Abstract: A system for managing a group of charging stations for a personal mobility device and includes a central personal mobility device charger controller for controlling system operations. A first interface enables communication between the central personal mobility device charge controller and a plurality of charging units for charging the personal mobility device. A second interface enables communications between the central personal mobility device charge controller and a plurality of charging applications enabling finding of locations of at least one of the plurality of charging units and making of reservations with the at least one of the plurality of charging units. A reservation controller stored on the central personal mobility device charger controller enables a user of one of the plurality of charging applications to select the at least one of the plurality of charging units and make a reservation with the at least one of the plurality of charging units at a selected time period.
