Abstract: Apparatus for dividing medicinal tablets is disclosed. Such apparatus may include a plurality of tablet dividing members disposed along a common axis, a tablet retention mechanism adapted to hold a plurality of oral solid medicinal tablets, and a controller that causes the tablet retention mechanism to move relative to the tablet dividing members. Each medicinal tablet may have a respective initial dosage of an active constituent. The tablet dividing members may be disposed relative to one another along the common axis to divide each of the medicinal tablets into a respective plurality of tablet portions. The partial dosages of all the tablet portions may be equal.
