    Abstract: An apparatus and method for loading and unloading articles such as luggage to a passenger vehicle or storage area. The apparatus is a single bed connected to a transport device. The elevation of the bed may be adjustable to be brought close to the platform or cargo area where luggage pieces are kept. A ramp member extends from the bed. The bed is generally a large conveyor that is smooth and continuous so that luggage wheels, straps, handles or the like cannot become lodged.
