  • Publication number: 20110114031
Abstract: A pet toy includes an internal skeletal member having an inner surface and an outer surface. The internal skeletal member is configured to deform upon compression such that opposing sides of the internal surface come into contact with each other. An outer covering surrounds the skeletal member. A sound-emitting squeaker device is located within an internal space of the internal skeletal member. The sound-emitting squeaker device remains free to move throughout the internal space of the internal skeletal member.

  • Patent number: 7891322
Abstract: A dog harness is comprised of a torso strap positioned across the lower shoulders of a dog, connected to a chest strap passing around the chest of a dog, and a shoulder strap passing over the back of a dog. The chest strap is provided with a limited slip loop. A leash connector is fixed to the limited slip loop. When a leash is attached to the leash connector, a directional pull on the leash causes the leash connector to slide in the direction of the pull, pulling the limited slip loop to the side and moving the pull off the center of the dog's chest, thus decreasing the opposition reflex.

  • Patent number: 7600488
Abstract: A non-consumable pet toy includes a body having a first treat-retaining cavity and a first opening that extends between the first treat-retaining cavity and an outer surface of the body. The non-consumable pet toy also includes a metering device in the first opening that dispenses treats from the first treat-retaining cavity through the first opening at a metered rate. The first treat-retaining cavity being refillable through the metering device.

  • Patent number: 7278374
Abstract: A non-consumable pet toy (100) includes a resilient first concave-shaped molded member (102) having a first peripheral edge (130) and a resilient second concave-shaped molded member (104) having a second peripheral edge (132). The first and second members have a treat-retaining cavity (101) between them. The treat retaining pet toy also includes a fastener (110, 112) extending centrally through the treat-retaining cavity. The fastener fastens the first member to the second member such that the first peripheral edge is at a predetermined distance from the second peripheral edge.

  • Patent number: 7144293
Abstract: A toy comprises a three-dimensional body that can be compressed to actuate a squeaker chamber to move air through a squeaker device. The squeaker chamber is formed by an elongated resilient member in the toy body that can be actuated to operate the squeaker device from a location on the toy distal from the squeaker device. In one embodiment, the resilient member is one or more elastic bladders and in another embodiment the resilient member is one or more resilient tubes. The squeaker chamber may be of various configurations for a variety of toy shapes.
