Abstract: A system and method for just-in-time embedded watermarking of streaming digital content. The system employs sequential processing to transcode streaming content to embed a user-specific watermark into the streaming content. Additionally, the just-in-time embedded watermarking system transcodes short segments of content on an as-needed basis, in response to user requests, instead of performing bulk transcoding of large amounts of content at once. Accordingly, the just-in-time embedded watermarking system provides consistent and predictable user playback experience. Further, the system automatically supports adaptive bit rate optimization by providing interoperability with multiple potential adaptive bit rates requestable by the content player device. The system watermarks the requested content segment in real-time during the streaming of the content by causing burn-in of the user-specific watermark into the streaming content.

Abstract: A script synchronization interface system is disclosed for synchronizing a script, shot properties, and one or more video files by mapping associated metadata. The script synchronization interface system includes an interactive script section, an interactive video section, and an interactive shot section. The interactive script section includes synchronized script dialog that is selectable by an individual word linked to a video frame and a combination of “shot set-up” and “take” information associated with the selected word in the script dialog. The interactive video section includes a video player that plays a synchronized video. The synchronized video is linked to synchronized script dialog in the interactive script section and a combination of “shot set-up” and “take” information associated with the selected word in the script dialog. An interactive shot section may also be included that contains selectable vertical line segments, on-screen actor information, shot set-up information, and take numbers.

Abstract: A method for delivering media content in full motion video to users via a network in a collaborative media production process is disclosed. The method includes: receiving encoded, production digital media files and an AV log file on a data center server, wherein the AV log file contains meta-data captured on a production set, including SMPTE time codes; reading the meta-data from the AV log file; associating the meta-data with the production digital media files; downloading or streaming the production digital media files to a collaborative display interface via the network; and enabling viewing and collaborative interaction with the production digital media files by a user using the collaborative display interface, wherein the collaborative interaction includes interacting with other users during post-production by notating comments that includes inserting a link to a specific digital media file and an actual media clip frame using a production time code.
