  • Patent number: 11603981
Abstract: The present disclosure is an improvement in bi-focus lenses. The disclosure relates to the use of multiple channels of LED/Lens combinations to achieve a smooth and continuous range of emitted beam angles of light in a wider range of beam angles than previously possible through only two channels of LED/Lens combinations. The resultant product will produce a continuous range of beam angles in a range exceeding 35 degrees from narrowest bean angle to widest beam angle. The lens channels selected are weighted so as to maximize the contribution of a single channel lens to the overall beam projection.

  • Patent number: 8505178
Abstract: A system and method for manufacturing that provides for adjustable support of work pieces such as printed circuit boards includes an edge rail system having first and second edge rails, with at least one of the edge rails being adjustable, allowing the width of the system to be adjusted to accommodate various widths of work pieces. It also includes a set of support strips for supporting a lower side of the work pieces and a means for dynamically adjusting spacing of support strips to adjust to the width of the edge rail system.

  • Patent number: 8500943
Abstract: A continuous composite fiberglass sucker rod for connection between a pump and a pump drive has a rectangular cross section. End fittings having a rod receiving cavity are connected to the rod ends using a curable adhesive. The rod fitting is maintained in a vertical position with the cavity facing upwardly. The rod end portion is positioned in the cavity with the end at the bottom of the cavity. Curable adhesive is introduced into the cavity. A centralizer bushing is used to maintain alignment of the rod relative to the cavity. A portable heating device receives the fitting and rod end portion and enhances the curing process.

  • Publication number: 20080236557
Abstract: A compound bow includes a base member with a longitudinal extent and has first and second ends. The base member is formed from a rigid material and has a grip location between its first and second ends, which provide mounting locations for mounting limbs to the base member. An elastomeric body is applied over, for example by molding, and at least substantially encapsulates the base member over the longitudinal extent. The elastomeric body comprises an elastomeric material, and optionally forms a grip member at the grip portion.

  • Patent number: 7311302
Abstract: An improved substrate support system for clamping spring loaded pins that support substrates, such as printed circuit boards, which have even profiles, and uneven profiles due to components being installed on one side during manufacturing operations to the opposite side of the substrate. The substrate support system can utilize a cam lever, a knob, or a draw latch to move a clamping plate between an aligned position and a clamping position.

  • Patent number: 7036766
Abstract: A reusable core that is suitable for having paper or other sheet material wound thereon. A multi-sectioned core is provided that is easily assembled. Interlocking sections that provide a pivot are held together by a sliding rod assembly inserted therein. One of type of rod assembly is preferable held into position by use of a snap ring or other similar fastening arrangement. A second type of rod assembly is a quick release design that can be easily pulled free by an integral handle. By removing the quick release rod, a key arcuate section is able to pivot thus causing the enabling the other two sections to likewise pivot inwardly, collapsing the core thereby permitting easy removal of the core from any remaining sheet material that must be discarded. The sheet material is held onto the core by means of a strip of double sided tape until the core is wound several times to keep the sheet material firmly in place.

  • Patent number: 6815842
Abstract: A control circuit for driving a plurality of electrical loads, one at a time, has a converter circuit for receiving a DMX compatible digital control signal and extracting a plurality of address bits therefrom. A decoder circuit receives the digital address bits and generates a plurality of enable signals, each corresponding to a particular load. One of the load enable signals is in an active state and each other enable signal is in an inactive state at any one time. A relay circuit for receives the enable signals, and in response passes an electrical drive signal to the electrical load corresponding to the enable signal that is in the active state. The relay circuit preferably includes a plurality of relay devices each coupled to one of the enable signals and a plurality of discharge circuits for rapidly discharging each electrical load when the enable signal corresponding to that load changes from the active state to the inactive state.
