Abstract: A housing for an intermediate signal transmission unit for wireless communication between a camera and at least one remote flash device, the housing comprising a first housing part and a second housing part which are connected. The second housing part is configured to accommodate signal transmission components of the intermediate signal transmission unit. The housing also comprising a connector by means of which the housing is physically connectable to a camera, said connector being arranged on the second housing part. The first housing part is displaceable in relation to the second housing part, and the first housing part comprises at least one actuator configured to control at least one switch, said switch being part of the signal transmission components and located in the second housing part.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a computer implemented method and system for obtaining an image sensor exposure setting for use in capturing an image using a main flash.

Abstract: A flash housing for photographic purposes can include a flash forming element arranged to generate a flash light, a lens element arranged to let at least part of the generated flash out of the flash housing so as to obtain a flash light, and a fastening element for attachment of a flash light shaping tool on top of the lens element. The fastening element can be arranged at least partly along a border of the lens element for magnetic engagement with a corresponding fastening element at the flash light shaping tool.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a computer implemented method and system for coordinating taking of a picture using a camera and initiation of a flash pulse of at least one flash device. The method is adapted for a system including a first device and at least one remote device. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a time base for a processor element of the first device, estimating a time base for a processor element of each at least one remote device in relation to the time base of the processor element of the first device, scheduling a timing for initiation of the flash pulse of the respective at least one flash device and/or a timing for taking a picture using the camera in the time base of the first device so that the coordination with the timing for taking the picture is obtained, and obtaining at the respective remote device of the system the scheduled timing of initiation of the remote device in the time base of that device.
Abstract: A flash housing for photographic purposes and method for controlling a flash light is disclosed. The flash housing comprises a flash forming element arranged to generate a flash light. The flash housing further comprises a lens element having a substantially circular cross-section and being arranged to let at least part of the generated flash light out of the flash housing so as to obtain the flash. The flash housing further comprises a zoom element rotatably arranged at least partly along the circumference of the lens element. The zoom element is operatively connected to the flash forming element so as to control movement of the flash forming element by manual rotation of the zoom element.
Abstract: A flash housing for photographic purposes is disclosed. The flash housing comprises a flash forming element arranged to generate a flash light and a lens element arranged to let at least part of the generated flash light out of the flash housing so as to obtain the flash. The obtainable flash light has a beam lobe with a controllable beam angle. A simulation light generator element is arranged for simulation of the obtainable flash light beam lobe having the controllable beam angle.
