A first closure and a second closure are provided along an opening defined at a portion of a perimeter of the flexible container, in which the first closure includes mating interlocking teeth and the second closure includes a mating rail and groove.

Abstract: A pusher for use with a mandoline slicer includes a cap having an upper and a lower end, the cap defining an interior space. A lower plate is attached to a pillar, which is attached to a telescoping post. The pillar and telescoping post are telescopically moveable with respect to one another along the central axis and trained for movement by a guide within the cap. Stops are provided along the guide to restrict the length of travel of the telescoping post and pillar. A spring is connected to the cap and the lower plate to urge the lower plate away from the cap in a direction from the upper end toward the lower end.

Abstract: An apple peeler and corer is configured with a main body having a platform which is raised above a lower foundation for the main body. A crank handle drives a threaded rod toward a blade assembly for slicing an apple. A rocker arm carries a peeler blade and may be resiliently biased toward the blade assembly or locked in a position pivoted away from the blade assembly.

Abstract: A juicer includes a container, a crank, a strainer, and a reamer. The strainer includes a floor having a plurality of through-holes, and a peripheral sidewall. The container has a pair of spouts, each configured to selectively support a crank support formed in the strainer. The reamer is supported above the strainer and coupled to the crank for rotation by the crank so that juice expressed from a fruit will flow down the reamer to the strainer, with pulp being captured by the strainer while juice flows through the through-holes provided in the strainer and into the container.

A moisture-retaining insert such as a terracotta material is removably retained between the lid and the access panel when the access panel is in the closed position.

Abstract: A hand-crank operated food processor includes a container with a removeable lid. The lid incorporates a number of gears that are operable by the hand crank to cause a drive shaft to spin, imparting a rotational force to a food processing implement such as a blade or a paddle carried on the drive shaft. The crank can be inserted into any one of a plurality of attachment points such that rotation of the crank handle in a selected attachment point will rotate the gears, and therefore the drive shaft, at a different rotational speed as compared to the rotational speed achieved at a different one of the plurality of attachment points at the same input speed from the crank.

The tubular main body is formed from a first flexible material allowing the tubular main body to deform under pressure by a use. A pick is attached to the first open end and extends away from the second open end, the pick being formed from a second material, the second material being different from the first material and further being relatively more rigid than the first material.
