  • Patent number: 9420838
Abstract: An all-purpose wig has a base including an ultrathin and moisture permeable film-shaped material, and hair materials adhered to one surface of the base. A first adhesion layer includes an adhesion agent having comparatively strong adhesion and a comparatively large degree of gelling. A second adhesion layer includes an adhesion agent having comparatively weak adhesion and a comparatively small degree of gelling. The first adhesion layer and the second adhesion layer are provided adjacent to each other with a tank layer therebetween. A first release layer is attached peelably to the whole surface of the second adhesion layer on the side that is fit to the skin, and a second release layer is applied peelably to the first adhesion layer and is layered on a portion of the surface between the first adhesion layer and the tank layer. The layers are layered in order, forming a flat surface.

  • Publication number: 20120180804
Abstract: A false eyelash that is easily wearable and prevented from slippage and separation while in use includes an extremely thin base, bonding layer formed linearly on a surface of the base, a plurality of hair segments individually and separately adhered to the bonding layer, and an adhesive layer formed on an entire underside of the base. The base is formed into substantially a two-dimensional configuration or three-dimensional configuration that contours a curved shape of an eyelid to which the base is fitted. Since the base is formed into an extremely thin two-dimensional configuration or a three-dimensional configuration that contours a curved shape of the eyelid, it may be fitted tightly to the eyelid. The hair segments are firmly adhered to the bonding layer such that they remain linearly attached to the base, by which the false eyelash with the well-aligned hair segments can easily be fitted to the eyelid.

  • Patent number: 7784472
Abstract: A disposable wig has a base 1 formed of an extremely thin sheet, hair segments 3 implanted onto the base and an adhesive layer 7 formed on the underside of the base. The thickness of the base is of the order of microns (?). The adhesive layer is uniformly formed on the entire underside of the base with such a thickness that there is a little unevenness with projected portions 9 and remaining portions. The projected portions engaging the root portions 5 of the implanted hair segments protruding from the underside of the base, and are raised toward the surface side of the base when the wig is fitted onto a human skin. When the wig is fitted onto scalp 13, the unevenness at the underside of the base is depressed and raised by the surface of the scalp so that, at the base surface, the projected portions engaging the root portions of the implanted hair segments are raised when compared with the remaining portions.

  • Patent number: 7168377
Abstract: A vertically reciprocatable needle (41) that is extremely fine in its lengthwise direction, having a leading end portion of a triangular pyramidal shape. Edges (41b) are formed on a periphery of the leading end portion, and an engaging portion (41c) is formed at a base thereof. The engaging portion comprises a recess (41d) and a tongue (41e) covering the recess. Below the engaging portion, a tapered guide surface (41f) continues straight from a point on a periphery of the needle to the recess. The recess is recessed in a needle axial direction. The tongue has a diameter smaller than the maximum diameter of the guide surface. The artificial hair may be hooked by the engaging portion during vertical movement of the needle, which assures relative movement of the needle at a pitch or width of high accuracy. Accordingly, the transplanting pitch of the artificial hair is controlled with high accuracy.

  • Patent number: 7165554
Abstract: An apparatus includes a supplying unit for supplying artificial hairs onto one surface of a base and a needle movable in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the base. The needle pierces the base in a stretched condition to draw out the artificial hairs toward the opposite surface of the base. The base is supplied to a top surface of a conveyor table movable on a two-dimensional plane in perpendicular directions, movement thereof being controlled to be done at a predetermined pitch in a predetermined order, so that the base becomes stretched. In this stretched condition, the artificial hairs are transplanted. After hair-transplantation, the stretched condition is released. This prevents needle holes, formed by hair-transplantation, from being connected with each other to form a continuous slit.

  • Patent number: 7165557
Abstract: A base sheet (11 ) of elastic material is stretched, and the intermediate portion of a hair segment is caught by reciprocating needles (41a) to form a shape-retainable turn (30a) at said intermediate portion. The turn remains on one side of the base sheet and secured to said one side with a first adhesive layer (111), whereas a pair of lengthwise hair extensions (30b) extending from the opposite ends of the turn pass through holes (11a), formed by penetration of the needles during elevation thereof, to beyond the other side of the base sheet. After a predetermined number of the hair segments are transplanted and secured to the base sheet, the stretched condition of the base sheet is released or loosened, so that it contracts due to elasticity to thereby reduce the diameter of the holes. Then, a second adhesive layer (112) is formed entirely on the said one side of the base sheet for fitting on human skin.
