Patents Assigned to Protech Automation GmbH
  • Patent number: 5143195
Abstract: A conveyer (10) is provided for the transport of workpiece carriers (12) to be received by a positioning and holding member (15) for processing of the workpieces arranged on the carriers. A stopper member (30) is arranged behind the positioning and holding member (15) as seen in transport direction. A leading workpiece carrier (I) is stopped by the stopper member (30) in such a manner that a following workpiece carrier (II) is brought to a standstill exactly in the receiving position of the positioning and holding member (15). This allows exact positioning and separation of the workpiece carriers without the need of highly precise control of a separating member. A leading workpiece carrier (I) will remain in its position at the stopper (34) until having stopped a following workpiece carrier (II) in the positioning and holding member (15).

  • Patent number: 5040669
Abstract: A duplex conveyor comprises a pair of relatively spaced parallel bars having mutually facing sides with a plurality of bearing blocks mounted for displacement along each bar. A support roller is rotatably journalled for rotation relative to each bearing block and the support rollers are adapted to underlyingly support a workpiece carrier. The bearing blocks have lateral guide surfaces for cooperatively engaging a workpiece carrier during movement thereof upon rotation of at least one of the support rollers. A drive belt roll is drivingly connected to each support roller, and a drive belt is in driving relationship to each belt roll to drive the support rollers and thereby move the workpiece carrier and a workpiece supported thereupon.

  • Patent number: 4934507
Abstract: An assembly device forming a basic machine for an assembly line which includes a plurality of conveyors; the plurality of conveyors including a first main conveyor (12), a secondary conveyor (13) extending in parallel relationship to the main conveyor (12) and two relatively spaced parallel lateral conveyors (14, 15) connecting ends of the secondary conveyor (13) to the main conveyor (12), the plurality of conveyors being disposed in a working plane, a second main conveyor (18) arranged in a return travel plane substantially coincident with the first main conveyor (12), two relatively spaced parallel lateral conveyors (19a, 19b) disposed in the return travel plane which are substantially coincident with the first-mentioned two lateral conveyors (14, 15) of the working plane, and transfer stations (20-27) at the points at which the plurality of conveyors meet at right angles.

  • Patent number: 4917226
Abstract: A duplex conveyor includes two generally parallel longitudinal profiles adapted to support a conveyor thereupon with each profile including an upright stem, a leg projecting generally transversely from an inner side of each upright stem and carrying a vertical clamping bar, and a retainhing strip projecting generally transversely from an outer side of each upright stem. Each retaining strip has an exterior longitudinally inclined surface disposed in inclined relationship to a longitudinal plane of its associated upright stem and a clamping block is carried thereby and is locked in position by a screw which bears against the inclined surface. In addition, a clamping bar projects generally transversely from the inner side of each upright stem and carries a mechanism for manipulating an associated pallet of the conveyor.
