Abstract: The invention relates to a shoe (1), in particular a sports shoe, having an upper (2) and a sole (3) connected to said upper (2). In order to achieve good resilience properties of the sole of the shoe together with excellent wearing comfort, at least some areas of the sole (3) consist of a number of hollow bodies (4) embedded in a carrier material (5), wherein said carrier material (5) consists of a foamed plastic material.
Abstract: A sole structure for an article of footwear having an upper includes a first cushioning member disposed in a heel region of the sole structure and a second cushioning member disposed in a forefoot region of the sole structure. The second cushioning member is spaced apart from the first cushioning member by a gap that extends between the first cushioning member and the second cushioning member. A sole plate extends across the gap between the first cushioning member and the second cushioning member.
Abstract: An outsole for an article of footwear with a forefoot region, a midfoot region, a heel region, a medial side, and a lateral side. The outsole can include a ground engaging surface with a plurality of cleats and a plurality of circular ridges including a first set of circular ridges and a second set of circular ridges. The first set of circular ridges can be concentrically aligned about a first epicenter in the forefoot region and the second set of circular ridges can be concentrically aligned about a second epicenter in the heel region. The plurality of cleats can include a first set of cleats in the forefoot region that can be aligned along a first circular ridge of the first set of circular ridges.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an article of apparel from a fabric material includes forming a single textile element of fabric material, providing a plurality of cuts to the single textile element, folding the single textile element into an article of apparel, and sewing the article of apparel together along a single continuous stitching line.
